HSH Prince Albert II of Monaco Visits Wonderful Wyoming. (VIDEOS)

PalaisPrincierHis Serene Highness Prince Albert II of Monaco arrived in Cody, Wyoming yesterday to “…celebrate the centenary trip of his great-great grandfather’s [Albert I] hunting trip with William F.”Buffalo Bill” Cody…” according to the Palais Princier.

Yesterday afternoon the sovereign prince had a chance to view the Camp Monaco exhibit at the Buffalo Bill Center of the West, plant a tree in front of the center as well as attended a reception where Prince Albert II “…announced the winners of the 2013 Camp Monaco Prize, a new scientific research grant, worth $100,000, supporting biodiversity studies in the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem…” according to various sources.

His Majesty King Willem-Alexander of the Netherlands Opens the Paleis van Justitie. (VIDEOS)

WAOn Thursday, September 19, 2013, His Majesty King Willem-Alexander of the Netherlands arrived in the IJdok in Amsterdam to officially open the new Paleis van Justitie (Palace of Justice).

According to RVD, the Paleis van Justitie “…consists of two connected buildings which houses the Amsterdam Court and the Public Prosecutor.”

Her Majesty Queen Mathilde of Belgium Participates in a Conference in New York City. (VIDEOS)

MathildeOn Thursday, September 19, 2013, Her Majesty Queen Mathilde of Belgium participated in day two of the United Nations Global Compact Leaders Summit 2013: Architects for a Better World, conference in New York City.  According to the Belgian royal court, the conference is:

“…chaired by the United Nations Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon.  The United Nations Global Compact Leaders Summit brings together chief executives with leaders from civil society, government and the United Nations to unveil a new global architecture for corporate sustainability.  The summit will set the stage for business to shape and advance the post-2015 development agenda. It will put forward a framework for business to contribute to global priorities, such as climate change, water, food, women’s empowerment, children’s rights, decent jobs and education at unprecedented levels.”

Yesterday, Her Majesty participated in a roundtable discussion under the theme, Children’s Rights are Everyone’s Business, organized by UNICEF and the Global Compact Network Belgium.

His Serene Highness Prince Albert II of Monaco Visits Dolceacqua, Italy. Plus, Other News. (VIDEO)

On Tuesday, September 17, 2013, His Serene Highness Prince Albert II of Monaco visited Dolceacqua, Italy for the day. The sovereign prince was welcomed the lovely town by the mayor, Mr. Fulvio Gazzola, as well as other local officials.  During his visit the sovereign prince visited Castello dei Doria and Sant Antonio church, attended a luncheon held in his honor and much more.

palais princierYesterday, Prince Albert II and Princess Charlene arrived at the Wendover Airfield in Utah where they attended the “…presentation of Venturi’s new electric vehicle, VBB-3.  Venturi is a Monaco-based automotive manufacturer…”

Her Majesty Queen Margrethe II Welcomes the President of Vietnam to Denmark. (VIDEOS)

drf-coaOn Wednesday, September 18, 2013, Her Majesty Queen Margrethe II and His Royal Highness Prince Henrik of Denmark accompanied by Their Royal Highnesses Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary, Their Royal Highnesses Prince Joachim and Princess Marie, and Her Royal Highness Princess Benedikte welcomed the President of Vietnam, Truong Tấn Sang and First Lady Mai Thi Hanh to lovely old Denmark.

After the usual traditional welcoming ceremony and the inspection of the Royal Life Guard’s Her Majesty, the royal family, President Sang and the First Lady hopped into their cars and hightailed to Fredensborg Slot.  Once there the always incredibly happy Danish press were waiting ever so patiently for Her Majesty and her guests inside the Harsdorffsalen at Fredensborg Slot.  Ten minutes later the photo-op was over.

An hour and a half later and a change of clothing Crown Princess Mary hosted a lovely luncheon at Frederik VIII’s Palace for First Lady Mai Thi Hanh and her delegation.  Thereafter, the future queen of Denmark and the First Lady arrived in Hellerup where they visited a kindergarten then headed on over to the Nationalmuseet to view the fantastic exhibition, Viking.

Meanwhile, Crown Prince Frederik had the pleasure of entertaining President Sang and his delegation for a few hours.  So what did they do?  Well, the crown prince hosted a fabulous luncheon at the Hermitage Palace for his Vietnamese guests and a few lucky as well as very influential — hence deep pockets — Danish businessmen.

After that they sailed in and around Copenhagen Harbor…staring at a bunch of stuff.  An hour later they were over it.  As a result they headed on over to A.P. Møller Mærsk where they watched a “…presentation about the company’s business activities in Vietnam…” according to the Danish royal court.

In the evening, Her Majesty Queen Margrethe II hosted a gala state dinner at Fredensborg Slot in honor of President Sang and First Lady Mai Thi Hanh’s visit to Denmark.

News Regarding Her Royal Highness Princess Caroline of Hanover. (VIDEO)

 

Her Royal Highness Princess Caroline of Hanover attended “…l’Institut de Formation en Soins Infirmiers (IFSI) Promotion 2010/2013 graduation ceremony at the Centre Hospitalier Princesse Grace…” in Monaco on Tuesday.

In the evening, the princess accompanied by her daughter, Miss Charlotte Casiraghi, and His Serene Highness Prince Albert II of Monaco attended a charity fundraising dinner organized by the Nouveau Musée National de Monaco.

NorwayOn Wednesday, September 18, 2013, Their Majesties King Harald V and Queen Sonja of Norway visited and watched the  Barents Rescue training session, organized by the Norwegian Directorate for Civil Protection, in Lyngen in Troms County.

According to the Norwegian royal court:

“The Barents Rescue is a full scale rescue and collaborative exercise [which involves] Norwegian, Swedish, Finnish, and Russian rescue crews. 

The four countries have signed an agreement on mutual assistance across borders in case of a major crisis or accident were to occur. The exercise is held every other year, and involving organizations and agencies that will be involved at the major rescue operations in the Barents region.”

Meanwhile, in south Norway, Their Royal Highnesses Crown Prince Haakon and Crown Princess Mette-Marit continued their visit to the county of Vest-Agder where they toured the municipalities of Audnedal and Åseral. On the agenda today included a visit to the Åseral primary and secondary school, a tour of the Minne-Åseral Kultursenter (Cultural Center), visited Byremoparken where the crown princess opened a new hiking trail, and more.
