On Saturday, April 13, 2013, Their Royal Highnesses Crown Prince Haakon and Crown Princess Mette-Marit of Norway accompanied by Her Royal Highness Princess Ingrid Alexandra and His Highness Sverre Magnus attended the 2013 Ridderrennet in Beitostølen, Norway.
On the morning of April 13, 2013, Her Majesty Queen Beatrix of the Netherlands attended the reopening of the newly restored Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam. Prior to the official opening Her Majesty was given a private tour of the museum as well as attended a private performance by:
“…trumpet player Eric Vloeimans and the Netherlands Wind Ensemble, and a recital by writer Remco Campert of a poem that he created especially for the opening. An artwork by Dutch designer Christian Borstlap was also unveiled…”
Afterward, Her Majesty “…walked the orange carpet to Museumplein and officially re-opened the museum…” to the delight of all.

On Friday, April 12, 2013, Their Royal Highnesses Hereditary Grand Duke Guillaume and Hereditary Grand Duchess Stèphanie of Luxembourg visited the company headquarters, Chaux de Contern, to celebrate their 90th anniversary according to the Cour Grand-Ducale de Luxembourg.
During the festivities the hereditary grand-ducal couple along with hundreds of guests viewed “…a work of art created by the architect, François Valentiny…” listened to several speeches, viewed a presentation about the company’s latest activities, munched on delicious hors d’oeuvres, andgenerally had a fabulous time.🙂
On Friday, April 12, 2013, Her Royal Highness Princess Maxima of the Netherlands was in Rotterdam to visit the Oranje Fonds program,Kansen voor Jongeren (Opportunities for the Youth).
According to RVD, this “…program/initiative supports young people, who left school at an early age, in achieving basic qualifications and/or finding a job.”
On April 12, 2013, His Royal Highness Prince Carl Philip of Sweden, as patron of the Lilla Barnets Fond, opened the new Neonatalkliniken (Neonatal Clinic/Care Unit) at Skåne University Hospital in Lund.
On April 26, 2013, Their Royal Highnesses The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge accompanied by His Royal Highness Prince Harry of Wales will attend the opening of Warner Bros. Studios in Leavesden.
Per a press release:
“During the first part of the studio tour, The Duke and Duchess and Prince Harry will meet some of the creative teams from recent Warner Bros. Productions. They will be given an insight into the film making process and shown some of the props and costumes from those films. The Duke and Duchess and Prince Harry will then attend the official inauguration of Warner Bros. Studios Leavesden, during which The Duke of Cambridge will deliver a short speech.
Following the inauguration, Their Royal Highnesses will undertake a tour of Warner Bros. Studio Tour London – The Making of Harry Potter, based on the same site, where they will view props, costumes and models from the Harry Potter film series. The tour will include: a visit to the Great Hall; a wand lesson in The Gryffindor Common Room; and a special effects demonstration on Diagon Alley.
The visit will conclude with The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and Prince Harry hosting a meeting for their Charities Forum in the Great Hall.”
On April 25, 2013, His Royal Highness Prince Harry of Wales will be in Nottingham to visit to important organizations. The prince will visit the brain injury association, Headway, where he will open the association’s new headquarters.
Prince Harry will also visit the Russell Youth Club and the Confetti Institute of Creative Technologies.
