On January 24, 2012, His Imperial and Royal Highness Prince Georg Friedrich of Prussia celebrated the 300th anniversary of the late King Friedrich II in Potsdam, Germany.
The day began with a wreath laying ceremony at the tomb of King Friedrich II at Sanssouci Palace. Guests at the event included the prince along with Brandenburg Minister-President Matthias Platzeck, the mayor of Potsdam, Jann Jakobs and many others. Afterward there was a reception, concert as well as lecture at the Konzerthaus am Gendarmenmarkt in Berlin.
