Earlier this week Her Royal Highness Crown Princess Mary was seen having a little retail therapy with her personal stylist, Anja Alajdi, in Copenhagen.  The future Queen of Denmark and her stylist who resembles Canadian singer, K.D. Lang, purchased various items from stores such as Gucci, Christian Louboutin, Mulberry, and Rue Verte to name a few.

Meanwhile, His Royal Highness Prince Carl-Philip of Sweden’s controversial girlfriend, Sofia Hellqvist, had lunch with the President of Finland, Tarja Halonen, and other VIPs recently.  I sense that a royal engagement between the prince and the former reality television star/model will happen in 2012.  Click here  to view photos.

And, finally the slightly sleazy newspaper, New York Post, claims that Their Serene Highnesses Prince Albert II and Princess Charlene of Monaco are currently on holiday in Antigua where they “…lunch[ed] at the exclusive Lighthouse Bay Resort and relaxed on the beach.”

It was also revealed that the lovely princely couple spent some time at the Yasawa Resort and Spa (where they filmed the movie, The Blue Lagoon, starring Brooke Shields) in Fiji last year.  Apparently, the prince and princess, “…decided on a Fiji trip during a break in the Rugby World Cup…”

According to Marie Berg of Tour Pacific, Prince Albert and Princess Charlene, “…had a fantastic time at the exclusive resort… [and enjoyed] the long deserted beaches, peace and quiet, elegant spa facilities, and the amazing snorkeling.” Captain Brian, from the company Captain Cook Cruises, noted on his blog that he and his passengers, “…had the opportunity to meet the princely couple whilst the Yasawa Islands. On an excursion into local villages on the main island, Prince Albert thrilled local children with a visit to the Ratu Namasi School, and the sport-loving prince even played touch rugby with some of the students.” source and P.I.N.

Great.  🙂

  1. Hello Alexandra,
May I make an itsi bitsi correction to the above? The name of Finland’s president is Tarja Halonen, not Tanja Halonen. 🙂

    Best regards.
