More Information about the Upcoming Princely Wedding in Monaco

According to the French newspaper, Nice-Matin, shiny new trumpets have been custom-made, for the upcoming marriage between H.S.H. Prince Albert II and his fiancée, Charlene Wittstock.  The sole purpose for these new trumpets… they will play a new classical music piece composed especially for the new princess.

Per Nice-Matin:

…the prince has ordered four custom trumpets…

Twenty-four musicians will open at the end of civil marriage.  They will play the Princess Charlene’s anthem (Ode to Princess Charlene) on the Palace Square, where the couple will appear on the balcony in front of the Monaco citizens.

The four-minute piece, arranged and orchestrated by Jean-Christophe Aurnague, organist of the Church of the Sacred Heart, and Christian Escaffre.

Huh.  Well that’s cool.
