His Serene Highness Prince Albert II of Monaco Visits South Korea. Plus, News Regarding Her Royal Highness Princess Caroline of Hanover. (VIDEOS)

In French.

His Serene Highness Prince Albert II of Monaco is currently in South Korea where he participated in the inauguration of the Monaco Pavilion at the EXPO 2012 Yeosu.   The sovereign prince was to be accompanied by Her Serene Highness Princess Charlene of Monaco; however, the Palais Princier de Monaco announced, with great regret, that the lovely princess was unable to attend due to an acute case of Angina.

Any way, according to the official website for the EXPO 2012 Yeosu, on June 4, 2012, Prince Albert II participated in:

… high-level experts’ meetings on the development of Protected Marine Areas in the context of the Third Monaco Blue Initiative (MBI). MBI is a think tank which brings together political, economic, scientific experts with interests in the sustainable management of the oceans.

The third edition of the event, co-organized by the Prince Albert II of Monaco Foundation and the Oceanographic Institute, was  attended by 40 high level people from more than 20 countries to develop cooperation between ocean protection and economic development.

This afternoon, the sovereign prince participated in a lecture “…on the Convention for Biological Diversity…” and attended a dinner held in his honor with the famous Samsung Group.
