H.S.H. Princess Charlene of Monaco’s New Tiara: The Océan Tiara by Van Cleef & Arpels

Here is a video clip about H.S.H. Princess Charlene of Monaco’s new tiara known as the Océan Tiara by Van Cleef & Arpels:

Océan set exalts the grace and elegance of the Bride. This pledge of love, offered by the Prince to his Princess, who chose its name, transforms into a tiara.  Since 1956, Van Cleef & Arpels has held the honour of being “Official Supplier to the Principality”. Such a privilege demands the highest standards: that of being at the pinnacle of the art of jewellery creation.

Océan: water and its transformations

Ripples shimmer on a ribbon of white gold and round-cut diamonds.
The frothy lace of diamonds sparkles with the water’s reflections and diffuses into fabulous asymmetrical circles.
The waters of the sea, made of blue sapphires, carry 11 pear-cut diamonds in their gentle swell.
Océan, the necklace, transforms into a royal tiara.

Océan- Necklace
883 round-cut diamonds, weighing a total of over 44 carats.
10 pear-cut diamonds, weighing a total of over 4 carats.
A 4.01 carat pear-cut diamond.

Their Serene Highnesses Princess Charlene and Prince Albert II of Monaco: The Religious Wedding.

Wow.  What can I say… the princely wedding between Their Serene Highnesses Princess Charlene and Prince Albert II of Monaco was one of the best weddings I have ever seen.  From the music, the royal and princely guests, heads of state, and of course the bride in her gorgeous custom-made wedding gown by Giorgio Armani.

The best part of the wedding, for me, was when the princely couple were serenaded by a mother and daughter duo inside the Sainte Devote church.  The song was a prayer to the Virgin Mary which touched H.S.H. Princess Charlene to the point the beautiful princess starting crying.

Anyway, I will give you a wrap up of all the festivities later since there is still much more to go with the religious wedding events including the reception, gala dinner, ball and of course fireworks.  So stay tuned.  🙂

In the meantime there are so many photos for you view so please click the links here herehere here here here and here.  Photos galore! (Just click anywhere and you will see a ton of photos… probably more than you can handle.)   🙂

H.S.H. Princess Charlene of Monaco Addresses the ‘She’s Trying to Escape’ Rumors About Her to Vogue Magazine

As you may have heard by now there were some nasty and otherwise disgusting rumors spread around the world via the French newspaper, L’Express, as well as on various royal discussion forums days before the princely wedding regarding the status of the princess’s relationship with H.S.H. Prince Albert II of Monaco.  More specifically the nasty rumor was: She was trying to escape Monaco because the prince allegedly cheated on her and that there was another illegitimate kid running around (or some crap like that.)

Anyway, this morning — July 1, 2011 — H.S.H. Princess Charlene spoke out for the first time when she was getting ready for her civil wedding to Prince Albert II:

It is a shame that those rumors came at such a bad time, but I think they were timed to sabotage such a happy occasion. They are categorical lies. I won’t dignify them with any response other than to say that the photographs of me and Albert in love and getting married will speak louder than any vicious gossip and empty rumors.

Word.  Sing it sister!  There are many people who have got your back!

Nevertheless, the princess is still keeping her head high, smiling, and is looking forward to the religious ceremony tomorrow late afternoon at the Palais Princier de Monaco courtyard.
