On September 15, 2011, T.R.H.s Grand Duke Henri and Grand Duchess Maria Teresa of Luxembourg attended La Sidérurgie Luxembourgeoise, un Siècle d’Histoire et d’innovation at the Rockhal in Esch-sur-Alzette. The purpose of the event was to celebrate the “… 100th anniversary of the steel industry in Luxembourg.”(source)

H.S.H. Prince Albert II of Monaco, H.R.H. Caroline of Hanover, and her son, Pierre Casiraghi, attended the opening of the 10th Monaco La Belle Classe held at Le Yacht Club de Monaco at Port Hercule recently. According to the French online magazine, Pure People, Prince Albert received a nice watch from the members of Le Yacht Club de Monaco then posed for photographers. Earlier in the week H.S.H. Prince Albert II had a meeting with former World Bank president, James Wolfensohn. The day before, Mr. Wolfensohn participated in the Monaco Méditerranée Foundation Conference (MMFC) entitled, The World 2050 held at the Le Meridien Beach Plaza in Monaco. After a lovely summer holiday members of the grand-ducal house of Luxembourg are back at work. According to the official website for the house, Cour Grand-Ducale de Luxembourg, H.R.H. Hereditary Grand Duke Guillaume attended the “European Union Youth Wind Orchestra” concert recently looking quite nice in a blue suit with yellow tie. On September 13, 2011, Her Majesty Queen Beatrix of the Netherlands along with H.R.H. Prince Willem-Alexander of Orange and H.R.H. Princess Maxima of the Netherlands attended the 50th Anniversary of the Het Nationale Ballet (Dutch National Ballet) in Amsterdam.
The gala celebration took place at the Amsterdam Music Theatre were over 80 dancers from this prestigious company performed various numbers such as “Sleeping Beauty” and “Giselle” according to the online newspaper, RNW.nl.

As you may or may not know by now H.S.H. Prince Albert II along with his nephew, Andrea Casiraghi, participated in a little nature hike on September 11, 2011, to mark the 100th anniversary of the Club Alpin Monégasque.
The green prince (looking trim and spiffy in his new REI hiking gear), a newly bald Andrea, and many others began their trek bright and early in the morning in front of the Palais Princier de Monaco then proceeded to make their way to Mont-Agel, the highest peak that borders Monaco and France. On September 12, 2011, H.R.H. Princess Maxima of the Netherlands inaugurated the new Van Leeuwen Buizen Groep (VLBG) headquarters in Zwijndrecht.
According to the official site for the company, Van Leeuwen Buizen Groep, Princess Maxima:
… opened the new building by cutting a ribbon in front of employees, customers and clients of Van Leeuwen from home and abroad. Balloons, confetti and music underscored the celebratory moment. The Princess was given a tour of the new office building and the nearby pipes and storage business.
