On Tuesday, September 13, 2016, Her Majesty Queen Maxima of the Netherlands accompanied by the CEO of the Dutch Association of Insurers, Mr. Richard Weurding, visited two Money/Ways classes, as part of European Money Week, at the ROC van Amsterdam-MBO College Amstelland in Amstelveen. European Money Week is a joint initiative by European banking associations that aims to raise public awareness on financial literacy and improving financial education for students from elementary and secondary schools.

During today’s visit to the classes Her Majesty and Mr. Weurding participated in a roundtable discussion which focused on the “…relationship between debt and school and the benefits of financial education…” according to RVD.
