(VIDEO) HSH Prince Albert II of Monaco Attends an Unveiling.

On Tuesday, November 17, 2015, His Serene Highness Prince Albert II of Monaco welcomed American contemporary artist, Mr. Barry X Ball, to the Palais Princier in Monaco-ville.  The purpose of the Mr. Ball’s visit was to present his latest work… an 18K gold bust of the sovereign prince.

The unique bust, which will be on permanent display inside the Galerie des Glaces at the Palais Princier, pays homage to Prince Albert II’s love for the ocean and his ongoing dedication to protecting the marine environment.

HRH Princess Caroline of Hanover Presents the Décorations du Mérite Culturel.

On November 18, 2015, Her Royal Highness Princess Caroline of Hanover accompanied by the Minister of State of Monaco, Mr. Michel Roger, and the Minister of Interior, Mr. Patrice Cellario, presented the Décorations du Mérite Culturel to various individuals on the occasion of Fête Nationale 2015.

The ceremony took place inside the Salle du Trône at the Palais Princier in Monaco-ville.

Members of the Princely Family of Monaco Celebrate Fête Nationale.

On the morning of November 19, 2015, members of the Princely family of Monaco celebrated La Fête Nationale Monégasque (National Day Monaco) 2015.

The day began with a beautiful Catholic Mass, led by Archbishop Bernard Barsi, at the Cathédrale de Monaco.  Later the Princely family along with TSHs Prince Albert II and Princess Charlene’s adorable twins — Prince Jacques and Princess Gabriella — appeared on the balcony at the Palais Prinicer to wave to the Monégasque citizens and to wish them a very happy Fête Nationale.

By the way, Princess Charlene is wearing a cassis double-face coat dress with cloche voilette and suede gloves designed by her dear friend, Mr. Albert Kreimler, for the house of Akris.

And, finally, on Wednesday, November 18, Prince Albert II presented medals including the Mérite National du Sang and the Reconnaissance de la Croix-Rouge Monégasque.  Both ceremonies took place inside the stunning Salle du Trône at the Palais Princier.

(VIDEO) HRH The Duke of Cambridge Visits The Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust

On Wednesday, November 18, 2015, His Royal Highness The Duke of Cambridge visited The Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust in Sutton, England.

According to Kensington Palace during today’s visit the duke learned:

“…about the world-leading cancer research and clinical trial facilities at the Centre for Molecular Pathology and West Wing Clinical Research Centre.  The duke heard about the unique integrated approach to cancer treatment and translational cancer research from world experts in state of the art laboratories at the Centre for Molecular Pathology.  

The Duke of Cambridge also met leading clinicians and patients currently participating in clinical trials, who shared their experiences of the approach to personalized cancer treatment and the experience of being on a clinical trial.”

(VIDEO) HRH The Duchess of Cambridge Attends a Conference in London.

On Wednesday, November 18, 2015, Her Royal Highness The Duchess of Cambridge attended the annual Place2Be Headteacher Conference in London.

Held under the theme, My Head is Too Full, the conference aims at “…helping Headteachers from around the United Kingdom discuss the key issues and latest thinking on the role that schools can play in tackling mental health problems early in life…” according to Kensington Palace.

HM Queen Mathilde of Belgium Attends the 2015 Chemistry for the Future Solvay Prize.

On Wednesday, November 18, 2015, Her Majesty Queen Mathilde of Belgium attended the 2015 Chemistry for the Future Solvay Prize held at the Palais des Académies in Brussels.

The award went to Professor Ben Feringa from the University of Groningen in Groningen, Netherlands. Professor Feringa received the Solvay Prize for his work on “…unidirectional molecular motors, a research field that paves the way to new therapeutic and technological applications with nanorobots…” according to a press release.

Established in 2013 the Solvay Prize, worth €300,000, aims to recognize every other year a:

“…major scientific discovery that lays the foundation of the chemistry of the future while promoting human progress. It underlines chemistry’s essential role, as a science and as well as an industry, to help solve some of the most pressing issues facing our planet.”

TMs King Philippe and Queen Mathilde of Belgium Preside Over a Special Ceremony at the Palais Royal. Plus, Other News.

On November 18, 2015, Their Majesties King Philippe and Queen Mathilde of Belgium presided over a ceremony at the Palais Royal in Brussels dedicated to individuals who received a nobility title by Arrêtés Royaux (Royal Decree).

And, finally, on November 14, 2015, Their Majesties attended the baptism of HH Prince Philip of Saxe-Coburg und Gotha at Schloss Callenberg — son of THs Hereditary Prince Hubertus and Hereditary Princess Kelly of Saxe-Coburg und Gotha —  in Coburg, Germany.  For more information about last Saturday’s event please click here.
