On April 9, 2014, His Royal Highness The Prince of Wales visited the Rural Auction Centre in Crooklands in the county of Cumbria where he met with “…local farmers, apprentices and business owners…” according to Clarence House.

The prince also attended the launch of The Prince’s Countryside Fund Tourism Initiative at the George Hotel in Penrith, attended a reception at the Oddfellows Arms in Caldbeck to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Northern Fells Group, and visited the Workington Hospice in Workington.

On April 9, 2014, Her Royal Highness The Duchess of Cornwall arrived at the Earls Court Exhibition Centre in London to attend the 2014 London Book Fair.

According to Clarence House, during today’s visit the lovely duchess met with “…authors and publishers and representatives of literacy charities…”

On Wednesday, April 9, 2014, Their Royal Highnesses The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge accompanied by their son, His Royal Highness Prince George of Cambridge, arrived at Government House in Wellington, New Zealand to attend a “…playdate with local families who use the services of the Royal New Zealand Plunket Society, which provides support services for the development, health and wellbeing of children under five…” according to Clarence House.
