On the morning of Friday, January 31, 2014, His Royal Highness The Prince of Wales arrived in Shobdon, Herefordshire to visit The Church of St. John the Evangelist which had recently undergone extensive restoration.

The Prince of Wales also visited the Maesyronnen Chapel in Hay-on-Wye.  According to Clarence House the chapel is a “…17th Century single-story Nonconformist hilltop meeting house…”
