mary-2012On November 26, 2013, Her Royal Highness Crown Princess Mary of Denmark visited the Børnehuset Troldehøj (a daycare center for children) to participate in the project, LæseLeg.

Launched in 2011 by the Mary Fonden LæseLeg is a “…tool which helps children ages 3-6 strengthen their language skills through the method of dialogic reading…”

News Regarding HM Queen Maxima of the Netherlands. (VIDEOS)

DutchMaximaOn Tuesday, November 26, 2013, Her Majesty Queen Maxima of the Netherlands arrived in Badhoevedorp, in the district of Schiphol, to officially open the Koningin Máximakazerne (Queen Maxima Barracks) of the Koninklijke Marechaussee (Royal Military Police).

According to RVD, the new barracks:

“…is home to key personnel and 1,800 military police.  The barracks also has offices, meeting rooms, a canteen, a school for internal training, 340 sleeping rooms, a shooting range, and a sports facility…”

Her Royal Highness Princess Letizia of Asturias Presides Over the XXV Edition of the Premios Rey Jaime I. (VIDEO)

On November 25, 2013, Her Royal Highness Princess Letizia of Asturias arrived at the Lonja de los Mercaderes in Valencia to preside over the XXV Edition of the Premios Rey Jaime I de Ciencia e Investigación.

The awards are presented to distinguished scientists and researchers in the fields of Basic Research, Economics, Medical Research, Environmental Protection, New Technologies and Entrepreneurship.  The winners receive a 100,000 Euros, gold medal, diploma, and are invited to join the High Consultative Council on Research and Development of the Presidency of the Generalitat Valenciana.

The winners of the XXV Edition of the Premios Rey Jaime I de Ciencia e Investigación are Mr. Manel Esteller Badosa (Basic Research), Mr. Francesc Xavier Vives Torrents (Economics), Mr. Jesús F. San Miguel Izquierdo(Medical Research), Mr. Xavier Querol (Environmental Protection), Mr. Antonio González Colas (New Technologies) and Mr. Pedro Espinosa Martínez (Entrepreneurship).

News Regarding His Royal Highness The Prince of Wales.

powalesOn Monday, November 25, 2013, His Royal Highness The Prince of Wales arrived in Sherston, Malmesbury in Wiltshire to open the Sherston Old School Project.

The prince also visited the Royal Agricultural University’s Rural Innovation Centre at Manor Farm in Gloucestershire.  According to Clarence House the Rural Innovation Centre:

“…enables the university to further its research and learning activities and share agricultural knowledge and broaden its research base in the agri-business sector.  

The Prince’s Countryside Fund has supported one of the more vocational projects to be run at the Centre, which is aimed at introducing local young people to agricultural skills.”
