“His Royal Highness Prince Harry of Wales will visit Lesotho and South Africa from 25th to 27th February on behalf of his charity, Sentebale. Prince Harry will spend the first two days privately, visiting Sentebale programmes throughout Lesotho.

On 27th February Prince Harry will carry out public engagements in the Maseru district of Lesotho and then travel to Johannesburg to attend the Sentebale Gala Dinner.”

News Regarding Their Majesties King Abdullah and Queen Rania of Jordan.

TMJordanHis Majesty King Abdullah of Jordan completed his brief visit to the United Arab Emirates on the evening of February 4, 2013.  During his visit, His Majesty, accompanied by his delegation, had a chance to visit the tomb of the late Shaikh Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan according to the newspapers, Gulf News and the National.

Meanwhile, this afternoon in Amman, Her Majesty Queen Rania of Jordan visited the “….elderly home care center at Al Asirra Al Bayda’s Society …”  According to the Petra News Agency, Her Majesty met with representatives from the  “…Jordan Volunteers group who provide psychological, social and medical services to the elderly…”

Her Royal Highness Princess Letizia of Asturias Participates in the 2nd Edition of the Foro contra el Cáncer. (VIDEO)

Letizia 2013On February 4, 2013, Her Royal Highness Princess Letizia of Asturias, as Honorary President, presided over the 2nd Edition of the Foro Contra el Cáncer organized by the Asociación Española Contra el Cáncer (AECC).

According to the Spanish royal court:

“…the forum was dedicated to the early detection of cancer, something that, according to the Princess, ‘we are all involved. citizens’ associations, public administrations, institutions, researchers, doctors, everyone. Each and every one of us, as ultimately responsible for our health.’   The aim of today’s meeting is to bring to the public the need to address the issue of cancer in a comprehensive way as the best way to ensure success in the fight against the disease.”
