Random Royal News Regarding Their Serene Highnesses Prince Albert II and Princess Charlene of Monaco. (VIDEOS)

On June 20, 2012, Her Serene Highness Princess Charlene of Monaco along with Her Royal Highness Princess Caroline of Hanover attended the 4th Annual FANB Race Challenge in Monaco.

According to the Palais Princier de Monaco the FANB Race Challenge, with the theme of ‘Sport-Health-Environment’, allows students from grades 4th-6th to participate in an hour and 45 minute race in which teams of students (usually three or more) solve puzzles “… in the Fontvieille gardens.  The race is part of the Olympic Day recommended by the IOC indented to promote the Olympic movement.”  

At the end of the 4th FANB Race Challenge Princess Charlene and Princess Caroline presented medals to the students.

Meanwhile, in Brazil, His Serene Highness Prince Albert II of Monaco attended a reception along with “…UNITAR Executive Director, Mr. Carlos Lopes.”  Click here to read more about the event as well as to view photos.

Royal News Regarding His Royal Highness Hereditary Grand Duke Guillaume of Luxembourg and his Fiancée, Comtesse Stéphanie de Lannoy. Plus, Other News.

On June 20, 2012, the Cour Grand-Ducale de Luxembourg released the schedule regarding the upcoming grand-ducal wedding between His Royal Highness Hereditary Grand Duke Guillaume of Luxembourg and his lovely fiancée, Comtesse Stéphanie de Lannoy.  Click here for more information (in English).

And, finally, it was announced several days ago that His Royal Highness Hereditary Grand Duke Guillaume, “… in his military capacity, is to be appointed the position of ‘Lieutenant-Colonel’… effective on June 23, 2012.”  Congrats!   🙂

Their Royal Highnesses The Prince of Wales and the Duchess of Cornwall Meet With His Holiness The Dalai Lama. AMAZING!! (VIDEOS)

On June 20, 2012, Their Royal Highnesses the Prince of Wales and the Duchess of Cornwall welcomed  His Holiness the Dalai Lama to Clarence House.

Awesome!   🙂

According to the Press Association, the Prince of Wales has been “…long-time supporter of the exiled Tibetan spiritual leader who is seen by China as a separatist threat.”

Upon His Holiness the Dalai Lama’s arrival at Clarence House the Prince of Wales smiled from ear to ear like a giddy child waiting to open his gifts on Christmas Day.  Then the future king of England, “… threw up his arms then placed his hands together in a prayer sign before hugging the Dalai Lama and sharing a few words with the spiritual figurehead.”  The Duchess of Cornwall was also excited to met His Holiness.  She gave him a kiss on the cheek before the three of them, “…moved into the house’s garden room for their informal chat.”

Earlier in the day, His Holiness attended a Service of Prayer and Reflection at Westminster Abbey along with hundreds of attendees as well as many leaders from different faiths. He also met with Burmese opposition leader, Ms. Aung San Suu Kyi.

Royal News Regarding Her Majesty Queen Beatrix of the Netherlands.

On June 20, 2012, Her Majesty Queen Beatrix of the Netherlands was in Utrecht to open a new provincial house.  According to RVD, the house, designed by architect, Mr.P.G. Vermeulen, was a former bank building and the decor:

… reflects the new way of working… Employees have no personal workspace, but choose a place that suits the work that they do at that moment. The building has a contemporary and open look, with many meeting places.

And, finally, Her Majesty received credentials from ambassadors from the Republic of Bulgaria, the Republic of Cyprus, and Bosnia and Herzegovina.  The event took place at Noordeinde Palace in Den Haag.

Her Serene Highness Princess Charlene of Monaco Attends the 2012 International School of Monaco Graduation Ceremony

On June 19, 2012, Her Serene Highness Princess Charlene of Monaco attended the 2012 International School of Monaco graduation ceremony in Monte-Carlo.

During today’s ceremony, held inside the Salle  Empire at the Hôtel de Paris, the sweet princess presented certificates and diplomas to 28 happy students.

Royal News Regarding His Majesty King Albert II of Belgium and Their Royal Highnesses Prince Philippe and Princess Mathilde of Belgium.

On June 19, 2012, His Majesty King Albert II of Belgium was at Château de Laeken where he held an audience with the Secretary of State for the Fight Against Social and Tax Fraud, Mr. John Crombez.

Meanwhile in Brussels, His Royal Highness Prince Philippe of Belgium attended the 2012 Prix du Fonds Prince Philippe Award ceremony held at the Palais des Academies.

According to the official website for the Belgian monarchy the Prix du Fonds Prince Philippe are presented annually to:

…one or more initiatives stimulating dialogue and exchanges between the three communities of our [Belgium] country. This can be partnerships between organizations from two or more communities or initiative specific to an organization aimed at building bridges between communities.

The winners received a crisp piece of paper with their name on it and a check for 15,000 Euros.  Not bad.   🙂

And, finally, this evening at the Chapelle Musicale Reine Elisabeth in Waterloo, Princess Mathilde of Belgium attended the ceremony Prix de la Fondation Futur 21.  The foundation supports educational, humanitarian and medical projects which “… gives priority to children and young adults.”
