On Tuesday, June 12, 2012, Their Serene Highnesses Prince Albert II and Princess Charlene of Monaco visited the 8th Edition of Monacology held on the Quai Antoine I. The purpose of the event is to educate the Monégasque youth about the environment. Monocology is organized in collaboration with the Mediterranean Institute of Studies and Sustainable Development and Star’s N’ Bars with the assistance of Mr. Olivier Arnould.

In the evening, the princely couple attended a gala dinner, organized by Ambassadors Club of Monaco, to honor actor, Sir Roger Moore. During the gala event, held at the Hôtel de Paris, Mr. Moore received the Goodwill Ambassador diploma for basically being super awesome. 🙂
And, finally, during a press conference yesterday afternoon Prince Albert II “… discussed the possibility of restarting the land extension plans he halted in 2008.” It seems the reason the sovereign prince is considering expanding the principality is due to population growth and so forth. Click here for more information (in English).
About the extension. Begins at the :57 mark
And, finally — finally — 🙂 here is a news report regarding Prince Albert II’s segment on the program, Thalassa.
