If you happen to live or plan on visiting Europe in the coming months there are several fantastic royal exhibits that are about to open in Denmark, Germany and England.
At Rosenborg Slot in Denmark the royal jewels exhibition entitled, Pearls: A Royal Splendor, Modern Design, begins on February 11 – May 28, 2012. According to the official website for the Royal Danish Collections this exhibit will:
…inform you about what a pearl actually is and introduce you to Akoya, Tahitian, and South Sea pearls. The exhibition provides, on the one hand, cultural historical insight through historical artefacts and ornaments, and on the other shows new, unique, creative ideas for pearl creations. source

really interesting website…thanks for the link!
What is the hair thing? It seems odd to have that jeweled end on a fall.
I’m not exactly sure. At first I thought it was one of those thingy’s people use to swat away flies… 🙂
Don’t they have people for that? 😉 I thought that too, but it looks like really soft hair which wouldn’t smack bugs well, I think. But what do I know. My fly-swatted is a shoe!
