On November 10, 2011, H.S.H. Prince Albert II presented former IAAF General Secretary Pierre Weiss with the Médaille de Vermeil de l’Education Physique et des Sports. The ceremony took place at the Palais Princier de Monaco with the president of the IAAF Lamine Diack and members of the IAAF Council in attendance.
