On August 25, 2011, H.I.&R.H. Prince Georg Friedrich of Prussia and H.S.H. Princess Sophie von Isenburg had their civil marriage at the Potsdamer Registry. According to Bunte magazine the ceremony lasted 30 minutes and was conducted by the Lord Mayor of Potsdam, Jann Jakobs.

With less than five days until the nuptials between H.I.&R.H. Prinz Georg Friedrich von Preußen and H.S.H. Prinzessin Sophie von Isenburg, the German television network, RBB, released a nice video news report about the couple on August 22, 2011. Well, ladies and gentleman invitations to the royal wedding between H.I.&R.H.Prince Georg Friedrich of Prussia and his fiancée, H.S.H. Princess Sophie von Isenberg, were recently sent out according to Bild magazine.
The article notes that 1500 people have been invited, ” [they] were sent to German and international nobility, “ according to Michael Blankart, a representative for Preussen.de. Even though Mr. Blankart announced that nobles were invited I sincerely hope that several European royals were also invited (which I am sure they were.)
The couple will marry in Potsdam, Germany at the Friedenskirche on August 27, 2011.

On Friday, January 21, 2011, HI&RH Prince Georg Friedrich of Prussia, the current head of the House of Hohenzollern on announced his engagement to the lovely Princess Sophie von Isenburg.
The princess grew up in Hesse and currently works for a consulting firm in Berlin, Germany.
The wedding will take place later this year most likely in Potsdam, Germany.
Congrats to the lovely couple! This is such wonderful news.
