That’s the question of the day, folks. And, thanks to — once again — to Euronews they are wondering “… has Monaco really changed…” since H.S.H. Prince Albert II came to the throne. Moreover, will his marriage to H.S.H. Princess Charlene change the country’s reputation into positive one? What impact would the princess have on Monaco? And, blah blah blah.

The Palais Princier de Monaco finally released the official wedding portrait of Their Serene Highnesses Princess Charlene and Prince Albert II of Monaco this morning.
The image was taken in the courtyard, where the couple had their religious ceremony, on the grand marble steps. In the portrait you will see the many of the royal guests including Kings, Queens, a Grand Duke, a Grand Duchess, Crown Princes, Crown Princesses,a head of state, an Earl and a Countess. And, of course you will notice the bride’s parent’s and the groom’s sisters.

This evening at the l’Opéra Garnier terraces in Monte-Carlo the new princely couple of Monaco, Princess Charlene and Prince Albert II, held their wedding reception with hundreds of their dearest friends.
The prince gave a lovely speech to his bride as well as to her family and royal guests. To watch Prince Albert’s speech please click the link here. Wow. What can I say… the princely wedding between Their Serene Highnesses Princess Charlene and Prince Albert II of Monaco was one of the best weddings I have ever seen. From the music, the royal and princely guests, heads of state, and of course the bride in her gorgeous custom-made wedding gown by Giorgio Armani.
The best part of the wedding, for me, was when the princely couple were serenaded by a mother and daughter duo inside the Sainte Devote church. The song was a prayer to the Virgin Mary which touched H.S.H. Princess Charlene to the point the beautiful princess starting crying.
Anyway, I will give you a wrap up of all the festivities later since there is still much more to go with the religious wedding events including the reception, gala dinner, ball and of course fireworks. So stay tuned. 🙂
