(VIDEO) News Regarding HSH Prince Albert II of Monaco.
On Friday, October 16, 2015, His Serene Highness Prince Albert II of Monaco gave a keynote speech during the 2015 Arctic Circle Assembly held at the Harpa Concert Hall and Conference Center in ReykjavÃk, Iceland.
Established in 2013 the Arctic Circle Assembly is the world’s foremost meeting for international cooperation on Arctic issues with more than 1,500 participants from over 50 countries attending the annual meeting each year.
On Saturday, October 17, 2015, the sovereign prince attended the gala, Africa on the Rock, held at the Hôtel de Paris in Monte-Carlo.  The event was organized by the AMREF Flying Doctors in collaboration with the Fondation Princesse Charlene de Monaco.
And, finally, this morning at the Palais Princier the sovereign prince welcomed delegation from town of Matignon, France, to the palais on the occasion of Monaco Heritage Day.  According to the Palais Princier, the sovereign prince listened to a “…serenade of traditional Breton music [in] tribute to Prince Albert.”Â
In a statement about today’s event the Palais Princier also notes that an:
“…exhibition about the Hotel Matignon, the Paris living place of the Princes of Monaco in the eighteenth century, was presented in the Palace library.  The sovereign prince was keen to accommodate visitors who came to attend one of the exhibition presentations, almost three hundred years to the day after the celebration, in Monaco, of the Matignon-Grimaldi marriage, in October 20 1715.”Â

On Thursday, October 15, 2015, His Royal Highness The Duke of Cambridge officially opened the new £2 million School of Pythagoras Archive Centre at the prestigious St. John’s College at the University of Cambridge in Cambridge, England.

(VIDEOS) HM Queen Elizabeth II Visits the University of Surrey.
On October 15, 2015, Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and His Royal Highness The Duke of Edinburgh arrived at the University of Surrey in Guildford, England, to officially open the university’s new School of Veterinary Medicine.
According to the official website for the university during today’s visit Her Majesty and the duke:
“…toured the £45 million School and visited the Large Animal Clinical Skills Building, where they met students undertaking equine examinations and working with livestock. The Royal Party also viewed a demonstration in the Biomechanics Laboratory, where they met Professor Noel Fitzpatrick, the ‘Supervet’, and dogs that have benefitted from prosthetic limb surgery. Finally, they observed teaching sessions in the Clinical Skills Laboratory, where they met staff and students undertaking clinical skills training.
After the tour, The Queen, The Duke and assembled guests participated in a short ceremony to celebrate the opening of the new teaching facilities, at which Her Majesty unveiled a plaque to mark the occasion.”

HRH Princess Sofia of Sweden is Expecting Her First Child.
On Thursday, October 15, 2015, the Swedish royal court announced that Her Royal Highness Princess Sofia and Prince Carl Philip of Sweden are expecting their first child.
In a brief statement the happy couple, who were married in a lavish ceremony last June 13, 2015 inside the gorgeous Slottskyrkan (royal chapel) at the Kungliga Slottet (royal palace) in Stockholm, noted “We are so happy and excited to announce that we are expecting our first child. We are very much looking forward to it!”
The royal baby is due sometime in April of 2016.

HSH Prince Albert II of Monaco Participates a Meeting in Luxembourg.
On Thursday, October 15, 2015, His Serene Highness Prince Albert II of Monaco arrived at the Palais Grand-Ducal in Luxembourg to participate in the International Paralympic Committee’s (IPC) Biennial Honorary Board meeting hosted by Her Royal Highness Grand Duchess Maria-Teresa of Luxembourg.
Other royal guests attending today’s meeting included His Royal Highness Grand Duke Henri of Luxembourg, Her Royal Highness Crown Princess Victoria of Sweden and Her Royal Highness Princess Margriet of the Netherlands.
In an IPC press release about the meeting the lovely grand duchess stated:
“…I feel honored to be part of an organization which not only encourages athletes at a Paralympic level, but also gives enormous hope and inspiration to the many who are trying to surpass their physical boundaries on a daily basis.”Â

(VIDEOS) The Swedish Royal Court Releases New Photos of HRH Prince Nicolas of Sweden’s Christening.
On Wednesday, October 14, 2015, the Swedish royal court released the official portraits from His Royal Highness Prince Nicolas of Sweden, Duke of Ã…ngermanland’s christening.  The images were shot by well-known Swedish photographer, Mr. Mattias Edwall, at Drottningholms Slott in Stockholm.
The little prince was christened last Sunday, October 11, 2015, at Drottningholms Slottskyrka.  Officiating the service were Archbishop Antje Jackelén, with assistance by “…Chaplain to The King and Bishop Emeritus Lars-Göran Lönnermark, and the Reverend Michael Bjerkhagen, Court Chaplain and Rector of the Royal Court Parish…” according to the Swedish royal court.
The godparents of HRH Prince Nicolas are HRH Prince Carl Philip of Sweden, Countess Natascha Abensperg und Traun, Mr. Henry d’Abo, Mr. Marco Wajselfisz, Mr.Gustaf Magnuson, and Mrs. Katarina von Horn.
