Her Royal Highness The Duchess of Cornwall arrived in Paris, France this morning to begin her two-day visit:
“…on behalf of her charity, Emmaus UK, a charity which supports homeless people by giving them a hone within one of the Emmaus Communities as well as work in one of its social enterprises, to help them get back on their feet and re-build their lives.”

On the evening of May 26, 2013, Their Serene Highnesses Prince Albert II and Princess Charlene of Monaco attended gala dinner, to celebrate the 71st Formula 1 Grand Prix de Monaco, held at the Sporting Monte-Carlo.
Guests in attendance included the winner of the 2013 Grand Prix de Monaco, Mr. Nico Rosberg and his partner, Ms. Vivan Sibold, TRHs Prince Charles nd Princess Camilla of Bourbon-Two Sicilies, Duke and Duchess of Castro, dozens of Formula One drivers who participated in this weekend’s race, various Monégasque government officials as well as local VIPs.
For those who are curious about Princess Charlene’s gala gown she is wearing a “…calla trapezoid apron gown with horsehair detail accessorized with an ecru minaudière clutch from Akris.”

On the morning of May 26, 2013, Her Royal Highness The Princess Royal arrived in Liverpool to participate in two events commemorating the 70th anniversary of the Battle of the Atlantic.
First, the princess placed a wreath at the British Merchant Navy Memorial at the Liverpool Pier. From there The Princess Royal along with her husband, Vice Admiral Sir Timothy Laurence, hundreds of World War II veterans, families, and friends attended a Service of Remembrance held at the Liverpool Cathedral.

On Saturday, May 25, 2013, Their Majesties King Carl XVI Gustaf and Queen Silvia of Sweden with a surprise appearance by His Royal Highness Prince Henrik of Denmark arrived at the Östasiatiska Museet in Stockholm to attend the inauguration of two exhibitions entitled, Gustaf VI Adolfs Gåva till Svenska Folket and Krigardrottningen och Kinas Bronsålder.

Her Majesty Queen Sofia of Spain arrived at the Parque Ferial Juan Carlos I in Madrid this afternoon to attend the 85th Exposición Internacional Canina de Primavera organized by the Real Sociedad Canina de Espana. It’s a dog show similar to the hilarious movie, Best in Show, and lower in rank compared to the famous Westminster Dog Show. Just being honest, people. 🙂
Anyway, during today’s event Her Majesty presented the top award, the Trofeo de S.M. el Rey (Best in Show) to a super cute little doggie. So what breed won? The Pug.

On Sunday, May 26, 2013, Her Highness Princess Ameerah Al-Taweel of Saudi Arabia participated in the plenary session entitled, The Business Case for Gender Diversity, during the 2013 World Economic Forum on the Middle East and North Africa.
This morning in cloudy and cold Brussels His Royal Highness Prince Philippe of Belgium along with 37,000 of his closest friends participated in the 20 km de Bruxelles race.
As the prince was sweating bullets, huffed, puffed and ran toward the finish line Her Royal Highness Princess Mathilde and the royal couple’s three children cheered on the prince until he threw his arms in the air and VICTORY! He finished. So what was his time? One hour and 58 minutes. Not bad. 🙂
