His Royal Highness The Prince of Wales Visits Langenburg, Germany.

PoWHis Royal Highness The Prince of Wales arrived in Langenburg, Germany this morning to attend the 2013 Langenburg Forum on Regional Food Security held at Schloss Langenburg.

According to a press release via Clarence House The Prince of Wales was invited to participate in the forum:

“…by his cousin, His Serene Highness Prince Philipp of Hohenlohe-Langenburg, in recognition of the work by The Prince of Wales’s International Sustainability Unit.  The 2013 Langenburg Forum on Regional Food Security brings together individuals and organizations from across the food industry as well as environmental and consumer groups, government representatives, food security and international agriculture experts.

Debates during the forum addressed the issue of the structure of food supply chains and exploring how they could be adapted to help return greater value back into food systems.  Participants discussed ways to ensure the sustainability and the quality of food through the development of more local food supply as well as the diverse local agricultures on which they depend.”

After participating in a roundtable discussion “…on the opportunities to enhance local food systems…” the prince attended a reception with participants of today’s forum.

His Serene Highness Prince Albert II of Monaco Arrives in Luxembourg. (VIDEO)

His Serene Highness Prince Albert II of Monaco arrived in Luxembourg City, Luxembourg this morning to attend the opening ceremony of the XV Games of the Small States of Europe.

Prior to the opening ceremony the sovereign prince met with Their Royal Highnesses Grand Duke Henri and Grand Duchess Maria Teresa of Luxembourg and Their Royal Highnesses Hereditary Grand Duke Guillaume and Hereditary Grand Duchess Stéphanie at the Grand Ducal Palace.

TRHs Prince Philippe and Princess Mathilde of Belgium Host a Reception at the Palais Royal de Bruxelles.

belgiumOn the morning of May 27, 2013, Their Royal Highnesses Prince Philippe and Princess Mathilde of Belgium hosted a reception at the Palais Royal de Bruxelles for those attending the 36th Antarctic Treaty Consultative Meeting.

The Antarctic Treaty Consultative Meeting is:

“…the primary forum for the representatives of Parties to the Antarctic Treaty to exchange information and formulate measures, decisions and resolutions to further the principles and objectives of the Treaty. The outcomes of Treaty meetings are adopted by consensus of the Consultative Parties.”

HRH The Duchess of Cornwall Visits Paris, France. (VIDEOS)

Her Royal Highness The Duchess of Cornwall arrived in Paris, France this morning to begin her two-day visit:

“…on behalf of her charity, Emmaus UK, a charity which supports homeless people by giving them a hone within one of the Emmaus Communities as well as work in one of its social enterprises, to help them get back on their feet and re-build their lives.”

TSHs Prince Albert II and Princess Charlene of Monaco Enjoy a Glamourous Gala Evening at the Sporting Monte-Carlo.

charleneAkristrcOn the evening of May 26, 2013, Their Serene Highnesses Prince Albert II and Princess Charlene of Monaco attended gala dinner, to celebrate the 71st Formula 1 Grand Prix de Monaco, held at the Sporting Monte-Carlo.

Guests in attendance included the winner of the 2013 Grand Prix de Monaco, Mr. Nico Rosberg and his partner, Ms. Vivan Sibold, TRHs Prince Charles nd Princess Camilla of  Bourbon-Two Sicilies, Duke and Duchess of Castro, dozens of Formula One drivers who participated in this weekend’s race, various Monégasque government officials as well as local VIPs.

For those who are curious about Princess Charlene’s gala gown she is wearing a “…calla trapezoid apron gown with horsehair detail accessorized with an ecru minaudière clutch from Akris.”

HRH The Princess Royal Attends a a Service of Remembrance. (VIDEOS)

Princess Anne, Princess RoyalOn the morning of May 26, 2013, Her Royal Highness The Princess Royal arrived in Liverpool to participate in two events commemorating the 70th anniversary of the Battle of the Atlantic.

First, the princess placed a wreath at the British Merchant Navy Memorial at the Liverpool Pier.  From there The Princess Royal along with her husband, Vice Admiral Sir Timothy Laurence, hundreds of World War II veterans, families, and friends attended a Service of Remembrance held at the Liverpool Cathedral.
