His Serene Highness Prince Albert II of Monaco Attends the 2013 SPORTEL Monaco: World Sports Content Media Convention. (VIDEO)

SAS le Prince AlbertOn October 15, 2013, His Serene Highness Prince Albert II of Monaco attended day two of the 2013 SPORTEL Monaco: World Sports Content Media Convention held at the Grimaldi Forum in Monte-Carlo, Monaco.  During today’s event the sovereign prince had a chance to mingle with attendees, view various exhibits and more.

This evening Prince Albert II attended the 2013 Golden Podium Awards Ceremony.  According to the official website for SPORTEL Monaco the Golden Podium Awards were:

“…created in 1991 by Georges Bertellotti and [is] supported by the International Olympic Committee since its inception.  [The awards are] the most prestigious for the sports media industry, awarding the Best Sports Images of the Year, amongst numerous international sporting personalities …”

News Regarding His Majesty King Philippe of Belgium. (VIDEOS)

BelgiumOn Tuesday, October 15, 2013, His Majesty King Philippe of Belgium arrived at the Bpost printing headquarters in Mechelen to attend the “…launch of the first day of the printing of the new post stamp bearing the image of King Philippe…” according to the Belgian royal court.

The new stamp was designed by Ms. Valérie Paul based on a photo of His Majesty by Mr. Christian Lamblotte.   

In other news, His Majesty held an audience this morning at the Palais Royal de Bruxelles with the President of Montenegro, Mr. Filip Vujanović.

His Highness Hereditary Prince Hubertus of Saxe-Corburg and Gotha Attends the 1st Annual Coburger Europa-Preis Award Ceremony. (VIDEO)

On October 9, 2013, His Highness Hereditary Prince Hubertus of Saxe-Corburg and Gotha attended the 1st Annual Coburger Europa-Preis award ceremony held inside the Grand Hall at Schloss Ehrenburg in Coburg, Germany.  The Hereditary Prince is patron of Coburger Europa-Preis competition.

Their Majesties King Willem-Alexander and Queen Maxima of the Netherlands Visit Stockholm, Sweden. (VIDEO)

KingWAOn Monday, October 14, 2013, Their Majesties King Willem-Alexander and Queen Maxima of the Netherlands arrived in Stockholm, Sweden for an introductory one-day visit.

Upon their arrival at the airport, Their Majesties were immediately driven to the royal palace in Stockholm where Their Majesties King Carl XVI Gustaf and Queen Silvia of Sweden accompanied by Their Royal Highnesses Crown Princess Victoria and Prince Daniel and His Royal Highness Prince Carl Philip were  waiting for them.

After a warm welcome from members of the Swedish royal family and quick a photo-op for the press King Willem-Alexander and Queen Maxima attended a luncheon held in their honor and hosted by Their Majesties King Carl XVI Gustaf and Queen Silvia.

In the afternoon, Their Majesties arrived at the Riksdag to attend several meetings with various Swedish government officials including the Speaker of the Riksdag, Mr. Per Westerberg, and the Prime Minister of Sweden, Mr. Fredrik Reinfeldt to name a few.

Her Royal Highness Princess Laurentien of the Netherlands in Den Haag.

LaurentienOn October 14, 2013, Her Royal Highness Princess Laurentien of the Netherlands was in Den Haag to participate in the launch of the new device, Taalmeter.

According to PPE, the Taalmeter “…is an online tool [rather program] which can determine whether a person has difficulty with reading and writing…”
