TRHs The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall Visit India. Day 5.

CCOn Sunday, November 10, 2013, Their Royal Highnesses The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall continued their nine-day visit to India.  The royal couple began their day by attending Remembrance Sunday service at the St. John the Evangelist Church in Mumbai.

From there the royal couple arrived in Pune to visit the Kirkee Commonwealth Cemetery which “…contains 1,668 Commonwealth burials of the Second World War…” according to Clarence House.  Thereafter, The Prince of Wales visited the Serum Institute and attended a reception at the Indian Turf Club.

Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II Leads Remembrance Sunday. (VIDEOS)

On Sunday, November 10, 2013, Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and His Royal Highness The Duke of Edinburgh accompanied by Their Royal Highnesses The Earl and Countess of Wessex, Their Royal Highnesses The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, His Royal Highness Prince Harry of Wales, Her Royal Highness The Princess Royal and Vice Admiral Sir Timothy Laurence, Their Royal Highnesses The Duke and Duchess of Gloucester, His Royal Highness The Duke of Kent, and Her Royal Highness Princess Alexandra, The Honorable Lady Oglivy, honored those who served and died in combat during the annual Remembrance Sunday at the Cenotaph Memorial in Whitehall, London.

Members of the British Royal Family Attend the Royal British Legion Festival of Remembrance.

QEIIOn the evening of November 9, 2013, Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and His Royal Highness The Duke of Edinburgh arrived at the Royal Albert Hall in London to attend the Royal British Legion Festival of Remembrance.

Other members of the British royal family attended this evening’s event including Their Royal Highnesses The Earl and Countess of Wessex, Her Royal Highness The Princess Royal and Vice Admiral Sir Timothy Laurence, and Her Royal Highness Princess Alexandra, The Honorable Lady Ogilvy.

TRHs The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall Visit India. Day 4. (VIDEO)

ccOn Saturday, November 9, 2013, Their Royal Highnesses The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall continued their nine-day official visit to India.  Today, the royal couple are in Mumbai.

According to Clarence House, The Prince of Wales began his day “…with a working meeting with the India Advisory Council of his charity The British Asian Trust…”

Soon, the prince joined the duchess to visit the Mumbai Mobile Creches where they “…toured the nursery and its classrooms before watching a puppet show with the children.”

In the afternoon, the royal couple participated in a wreath laying ceremony at the Taj Mahal Palace Hotel in remembrance of the victims of the terrorist attacks which took place at the hotel in 2008.

Thereafter, The Prince of Wales attended a business meeting, and then toured the Godjrej Mangrove reserve. Meanwhile, The Duchess of Cornwall visited the Asha Sadan Children’s Home.

In the evening, the royal couple attended the British Asian Trust gala reception and dinner.
