On December 6, 2012, His Serene Highness Prince Albert II of Monaco was in Doha, Qatar to attend the 18th United Nations Climate Change Conference. The sovereign prince also held an audience with His Highness Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani as well as met with Sheikh Saoud bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, the Secretary General of the Qatar Olympic Committee.

News Regarding His Serene Highness Prince Albert II of Monaco.
Recently, His Serene Highness Prince Albert II of Monaco was in Papua New Guinea to meet “… scientists involved in the Papua Niugini Biodiversity Expedition (PNBE) in Madang. The expedition documented the marine fauna and flora of Papua New Guinea from the bottom of the Bismarck Sea to the top of Mount Wilhelm…” The sovereign prince also participated in “… some deep-sea sampling aboard the research vessel, Alis, where he visited the Swire Research Station in the Wanang Conservation Area.”
Any way, after his trip Prince Albert II “…urged Papua New Guinea to learn how to manage the areas fish stocks as part of conserving its rich biodiversity…”

In other news, Prince Albert II will attend the 18th UN Climate Change Conference in Doha, Qatar, on December 6, 2012. And, finally on Friday, December 7, 2012, the sovereign prince will meet with French President, Mr. François Hollande, in Paris. The working meeting and luncheon will take place at Palais de l’Elysée.
According to the Palais Princier, discussions will focus on:
“… the quality of the Franco-Monegasque relationship and conduct an overview of the many topics of mutual interest that illustrate the excellent relations between both countries.”

On November 29, 2012, Their Serene Highnesses and Princess Charlene of Monaco attended a gala banquet for “… the benefit of the Fondation Prince Albert II de Monaco in Singapore.”



And, finally, the sovereign prince is expected to arrive in Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea sometime today. Apparently, he will meet “… scientists involved in the Papua Niugini Biodiversity Expedition (PNBE) in Madang …” according to various sources. The Fondation Prince Albert II de Monaco is one of many institutions funding this expedition.
The sovereign prince will also be aboard the “… research vessel Alis and take part in some deep-sea sampling, only if the weather permits. Prince Albert II will take a trip to the Swire Research Station in the Wanang Conservation Area. The expedition seeks to document the marine fauna and flora of Papua New Guinea from the bottom of the Bismarck Sea to the top of Mount Wilhelm…” according to one scientists of the PNBE, Professor Philippe Bouchet.
Any way, prior to his fun-filled research adventures in Papua New Guinea Prince Albert II will attend a reception held in his honor at the Divine Word University.

His Serene Highness Prince Albert II of Monaco was at the Galerie des Pêcheurs in Monaco to view the exhibition, L’Ours Polaire, on November 16, 2012. The purpose of the exhibition, developed in collaboration with the Fondation Prince Albert II de Monaco and photographer Rémy Marion, is to “… warn visitors about the dangers that threatens this species [polar bears] and their environment …”
And, finally, the sovereign prince recently attended the Conseil Economique et Social annual cocktail party held at the Hôtel de Paris.

On November 26, 2012, Her Serene Highness Princess Stephanie of Monaco as President of Fight AIDS Monaco:
“… posed with a t-shirt in Monaco after an anonymous and free AIDS test for the forthcoming World AIDS Day. World AIDS Day, observed on December 1 every year, is dedicated to raising awareness of the AIDS pandemic caused by the spread of HIV infection …”
The princess, along with volunteers from Fight AIDS Monaco, also attended the unveiling of “… public of works of art painted on huge white fabrics. These quilts were each in tribute to a relative or friend who died due to HIV.”

On Saturday, November 24, 2012, Her Royal Highness Princess Caroline of Hanover was at the Auditorium Rainier III where she received a check worth 8,000 Euros for the charity, AMADE.
On Sunday morning, November, 25, 2012, Their Serene Highnesses Prince Albert II and Princess Charlene of Monaco visited the L’église St. Charles in Monaco to attend the 100th anniversary of the church’s consecration.
In the afternoon, Princess Charlene attended 13th Annual No Finish Line charity race at Port Hercule. During yesterday’s event the princess “… presented awards to the winners of the race…”

His Serene Highness Prince Albert II of Monaco Attends the 2012 IAAF Award Ceremony.
On November 24, 2012, His Serene Highness Prince Albert II of Monaco attended the 2012 International Association of Athletics Federations (IAAF) held inside the Grand Ballroom at the Pullman Skipper Hotel in Barcelona, Spain.
During ceremony the sovereign prince presented Mr. Usain Bolt and Ms. Allyson Felix the Male and Female Athlete of the Year award as well as a check for $100,000.
Afterward, Prince Albert II along with those who attended the award ceremony made their way to the Museu Nacional d’Art de Catalunya to attend the IAAF Centenary Gala Show.
