On the evening of November 19, 2012, Their Serene Highnesses Prince Albert II and Princess Charlene of Monaco attended a gala performance of the opera, La Fanciulla del West, by the late Giacomo Puccini, held on the occasion of Fête Nationale 2012, at the Grimaldi Forum in Monaco.
Guests in attendance during the gala included Her Royal Highness Princess Caroline of Hanover, His Serene Highness Prince Hans-Adam II of Liechtenstein, Andrea and Pierre Casiraghi, local government officials as well as Monégasque VIPs.
Earlier in the day, the princely family attended a medal and award ceremony in the courtyard of the Palais Princier, and watched a military parade in front of the palais. Afterward, there was an official luncheon held inside the Salle du Trône in celebration of Fête Nationale 2012.
On Monday, November 19, 2012, Their Serene Highnesses Prince Albert II and Princess Charlene of Monaco attended a Te Deum Mass at the Cathédrale de Monaco in celebration of Fête Nationale 2012.
Also in attendance were Her Royal Highness Princess Caroline of Hanover, Her Serene Highness Princess Stephanie, His Serene Highness Prince Hans Adam II of Liechtenstein, Baroness Elisabeth-Anne de Massy and her daughter, Melanie, Andrea, Charlotte and Pierre Casiraghi, dozens of local government officials and Monégasque VIPs.
On November 16, 2012, His Serene Highness Prince Albert II of Monaco awarded the 2012 Monaco Media Prize to Kickstarter, “… the world’s largest funding platform for creative projects.”

On the evening of November 17, 2012, Their Serene Highnesses Prince Albert II and Princess Charlene of Monaco along with Her Royal Highness Princess Caroline of Hanover were at the Hotel de Paris to celebrate 25 years of legendary French chef, Mr.Alain Ducasse, and his famous restaurant, Louis XV.
Guests attending last night’s gala dinner included international celebrity chefs and local dignitaries.
On the afternoon of November 17, 2012, Her Serene Highness Princess Charlene of Monaco received the Grand-Croix de l’Ordre de Saint-Charles during the presentation of decorations held inside the Salon des Glaces at the Palais Princier.
