On Saturday, November 17, 2012, Their Serene Highnesses Prince Albert II and Princess Charlene of Monacovisited the Croix-Rouge Monégasque (Monaco Red Cross) headquarters in Monaco. The princely couple along with Her Serene Highness Princess Stephanie distributed “… bags of food supplies to Monégasque residents…”. The sovereign prince is Honorary President of the Croix-Rouge Monégasque.
And, finally, earlier in the day, Prince Albert II was at “… French chef Alain Ducasse’s restaurant, Le Louis XV, in Monaco to celebrate the restaruant’s 25th anniversary…”
On November 14, 2012, His Serene Highness Prince Albert II of Monaco attended the Prix de l’Association Sportive de Monaco held at the Auditorium Rainier III in Monaco.
Guests in attendance included The Duke and Duchess of Castro, Infanta Pilar, the Duchess of Badajoz as well as dozens of local dignitaries and VIPs. After the gala dinner there was a charity auction and a concert by Umberto Tozzi.
Recently, His Serene Highness Prince Albert II of Monaco participated in the 2nd International Workshop: Impact Socio-Économique de l’acidification des Océans sur les Pêches et l’aquaculture Conference, held at the Musée Océanographique in Monaco.
“Over Fifty-five experts from nineteen countries as well as representatives of international organizations gathered for three days to discuss the impact of the acidification of the oceans on fisheries and aquaculture, with the aim to help policy-makers develop means of response and create a dialogue and synergy among marine biologists and economists.”
On November 14, 2012, His Serene Highness Prince Albert II of Monaco opened the 2012 Monaco Media Forum held at the Sporting Club de Monte-Carlo. This three-day event gathers “… leaders of new and traditional media to discuss the future of online, broadcast and prince communications…”
On November 13, 2012, His Serene Highness Prince Albert II of Monaco attended the closing of the 10th Congrès de la Fédération Internationale des Corps et Associations Consulaires (FICAC) held at the Hotel Hermitage in Monaco.
This three-day event, organized by the Consuls Honoraires de Monaco and the Mayor of Monaco:
“… brings together about 200 Honorary Consuls from around the world which allows them an opportunity to exchange ideas and debate on the themes of biodiversity, peace and the world economic crisis.”
On November 9, 2012, His Serene Highness Prince Albert II of Monaco participated in the 3rd Edition of the Forum Euro-Méditerranéen sur l’efficacité énergétique (Euro-Mediterranean Energy Efficiency Forum) held at the Hotel Méridien Beach Plaza in Monaco.
Today’s event “… gathers policy and decision makers to promote action on the adoption of legislation designed to curb climate change. This year’s theme focuses on the opportunities of an energy efficient economy, covering three key areas: Policy, Market Demand and Investments.”
