Members of the Danish Royal Family Attend the Opening of the Exhibition, ‘Prins Henrik af Danmark: HKH Prinsgemalen 1934-2014’. (VIDEO)
On the afternoon of May 28, 2014, Her Majesty Queen Margrethe II and His Royal Highness Prince Henrik of Denmark accompanied by Their Royal Highnesses Prince Joachim and Princess Marie of Denmark attended the opening of the exhibition, Prins Henrik af Danmark: HKH Prinsgemalen 1934-2014, at the Nationalhistoriske Museum at Frederiksborg Slot in Hillerød.
According to the official website for Nationalhistoriske Museum the exhibition:
“…tells about [Prince Henrik’s] life, background, and work on several continents with different cultures and languages. One main theme is Prince Consort’s official duties as a representative of Denmark and order Chancellor, and his role as ambassador of culture and nature and so on.
The exhibition’s other main theme goes behind the scenes and provides insight into the Prince Consort’s personal interests including his work as a writer, artist, collector, wine grower and sportsman.”
Anyway, during today’s event the 79-year-old prince unveiled a new portrait of himself entitled, Tre Livsstadier, painted by famed Danish artist, Mr. Niels Strøbek.

News Regarding Her Royal Highness Crown Princess Mary of Denmark.
On Tuesday, May 27, 2014, Her Royal Highness Crown Princess Mary of Denmark visited the organization, Børn, Unge & Sorg, in Copenhagen according to the Danish royal court.
The future queen of Denmark is patron of the organization.

On the evening of May 23, 2014, Her Majesty Queen Margrethe II and His Royal Highness Prince Henrik of Denmark accompanied by Their Royal Highnesses Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary of Denmark, Their Royal Highnesses Prince Joachim and Princess Marie of Denmark, Her Royal Highness Princess Benedikte of Denmark, and Her Majesty Queen Sonja of Norway and His Royal Highness Crown Prince Haakon of Norway arrived at the Operaen in Copenhagen to attend a gala performance entitled, To Lande: Én Historie, in celebration of the 200th anniversary of the Norwegian Constitution.

On Wednesday, May 21, 2014, His Royal Highness Crown Prince Frederik of Denmark arrived at Pier 198 at Langelinje in Copenhagen to visit the “…Norwegian frigate, KNM Helge Ingstad, in connection with the 200th anniversary of Norway’s constitution…” according to the Danish royal court.
Thereafter, the future king of Denmark attended the opening of the exhibition, Under Fælles Flag, at the Orlogsmuseet in Copenhagen.
