On Friday, June 20, 2014, Her Majesty Queen Margrethe II and His Royal Highness Prince Henrik of Denmark visited the town of Marstal on the island of Ærø as part of their traditional summer cruise.

This afternoon, Her Majesty and the prince attended a reception at the Marstal Navigationsskole, visited the Marstal Søfartsmuseum, toured Eriksens Plads, and much more.

On June 11, 2014, Her Majesty Queen Margrethe II and His Royal Highness Prince Henrik of Denmark accompanied by Their Royal Highnesses Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary of Denmark along with their four children, and Their Royal Highnesses Prince Joachim and Princess Marie of Denmark and their family posed for the happy Danish press at Château de Caïx in France on the occasion of Prince Henrik’s 80th birthday.
