On Friday, September 5, 2014, Her Royal Highness Crown Princess Mary of Denmark arrived at the Bella Center in Copenhagen to preside over the opening of the exhibition, How to House: Arkitektur, Velfærd og Innovation.
On September 4, 2014, Her Royal Highness Princess Marie of Denmark arrived at the Hotel Comwell in Kolding to attend the opening of Med ADHD i Tanken: ADHD Foreningens Konference 2014.
On Wednesday, August 20, 2014, Their Royal Highnesses Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary of Denmark along with Their Royal Highnesses Prince Joachim and Princess Marie of Denmark attended a reception at Christiansborg Slot in Copenhagen in honor of Her Majesty Queen Margrethe II of Denmark’s Hofmarskal (Lord Chamberlain), Mr. Ove Ullerup.
Mr. Ullerup has been Hofmarskal since 2003. Earlier this year, Mr. Ullerup announced that he will leave his position as Hofmarskal on September 1, 2014.
On Monday, August 18, 2014, Her Royal Highness Crown Princess Mary of Denmark attended the conference, Invest in Girls and Women: Everybody Wins, organized by Women Deliver and held at the Landstingssalen at Christiansborg Palace in Copenhagen.
And, finally, last evening the future queen of Denmark presided over the 2014 Hans Christian Andersen Literature Award ceremony held at the Odense Koncerthus in Odense. The recipient of the 2014 HC Award went to British writer, Sir Salman Rushdie.
On August 13, 2014, His Royal Highness Crown Prince Frederik of Denmark participated in the Made in Denmark Pro-Am golf tournament held at the Himmerland Golf & Spa Resort in Aalborg, Denmark.
On Thursday, July 24, 2014, Her Majesty Queen Margrethe II and His Royal Highness Prince Henrik of Denmark accompanied by Their Royal Highnesses Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary of Denmark and their four children, Their Royal Highnesses Prince Joachim and Princess Marie of Denmark and their family, Her Royal Highness Princess Benedikte of Denmark, Her Highness Princess Alexandra of Sayn-Wittgenstein-Berleburg and Count Jefferson von Pfeil und Klein-Ellguth and their children, posed for the press during their traditional happy family holiday at Gråsten Slot in southern Denmark.
