On Monday, September 15, 2014, Her Majesty Queen Margrethe II of Denmark accompanied by Her Majesty Queen Anne-Marie of Greece and Her Royal Highness Princess Benedikte of Denmark attended the 2014 Dronning Ingrids Hæderslegat held at the Tivolis Koncertsal (Tivoli Concert Hall) in Copenhagen.
According to the Danish royal court the Dronning Ingrids Hæderslegat are:
“…awarded to provide financial support to young artists further study and qualification. The grants were awarded this year to cellist Toke Møldrup and ballet dancer Sebastian Haynes.”
On Monday, September 15, 2014, His Royal Highness Crown Prince Frederik of Denmark arrived at the Kongelig Dansk Yachtklub (KDY) in Copenhagen to meet with “…Danish sailors Nicolai Sehested and Peter Wibroe with skipper Chris Nicholson from Team Vestas Wind The team [will be participating] in the 2014 Volvo Ocean Race starting in October in Alicante, Spain…” according to the Danish royal court.
On the morning of September 15, 2014, Her Royal Highness Princess Benedike of Denmark met with various youth from Greenland and Gentofte commune at Christian VIII’s Palace, Amalienborg, in Copenhagen.
On Thursday, September 11, 2014, Her Royal Highness Crown Princess Mary of Denmark arrived at the Nordatlantens Brygge in Copenhagen to officially open the Ældre Sagens Symposium om Ensomhed: Fællesskab som Folkesag (Dane Age’s Symposium on Loneliness: Community as a National Cause).
On Wednesday, September 10, 2014, His Royal Highness Prince Harry of Wales accompanied by Their Royal Highnesses The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall, His Royal Highness The Duke of Cambridge and His Royal Highness Crown Prince Frederik of Denmark attended the Invictus Games Opening Ceremony held at the Queen Elizabeth II Olympic Park in London, England.
On the morning of Wednesday, September 10, 2014, Her Royal Highness Crown Princess Mary of Denmark attended the opening of the Mental Health Foundation Conference on Inclusion of Mentally Vulnerable Young People held at the Crown Plaza Hotel in Copenhagen.
Thereafter, future queen of Denmark participated in a meeting with members of the Mary Fonden held at Frederik VIII’s Palace, again, in Copenhagen.
On Friday, September 5, 2014, Their Royal Highnesses Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary of Denmark arrived at the Kastellet in Copenhagen to attend a “…wreath laying ceremony in commemoration of Flag Day…” according to the Danish royal court.
Thereafter, the crown prince couple attended church service at Holmens Kirke and attended a parade at Christiansborg Slotspad, again, in commemoration of Flag Day.
