Members of the British Royal Family Attend the Royal British Legion Festival of Remembrance.

QEIIOn the evening of November 9, 2013, Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and His Royal Highness The Duke of Edinburgh arrived at the Royal Albert Hall in London to attend the Royal British Legion Festival of Remembrance.

Other members of the British royal family attended this evening’s event including Their Royal Highnesses The Earl and Countess of Wessex, Her Royal Highness The Princess Royal and Vice Admiral Sir Timothy Laurence, and Her Royal Highness Princess Alexandra, The Honorable Lady Ogilvy.

TRHs The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall Visit India. Day 4. (VIDEO)

ccOn Saturday, November 9, 2013, Their Royal Highnesses The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall continued their nine-day official visit to India.  Today, the royal couple are in Mumbai.

According to Clarence House, The Prince of Wales began his day “…with a working meeting with the India Advisory Council of his charity The British Asian Trust…”

Soon, the prince joined the duchess to visit the Mumbai Mobile Creches where they “…toured the nursery and its classrooms before watching a puppet show with the children.”

In the afternoon, the royal couple participated in a wreath laying ceremony at the Taj Mahal Palace Hotel in remembrance of the victims of the terrorist attacks which took place at the hotel in 2008.

Thereafter, The Prince of Wales attended a business meeting, and then toured the Godjrej Mangrove reserve. Meanwhile, The Duchess of Cornwall visited the Asha Sadan Children’s Home.

In the evening, the royal couple attended the British Asian Trust gala reception and dinner.

His Royal Highness The Duke of Cambridge Attends a Rugby Match in Cardiff.

cambridgeOn Saturday, November 9, 2013, His Royal Highness The Duke of Cambridge attended a rugby match between Wales and South Africa for the Prince William Cup held at the Millennium Stadium in Cardiff.  The duke is Patron of the Welsh Rugby Union.

TRHs The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall Visit India. Day 3 (VIDEOS)

On Friday, November 8, 2013, Their Royal Highnesses The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall continued their nine-day official visit to India.

This morning the royal couple visited the Katha School in Govindpuri in Delhi.  According to Clarence House the school “…is supported by The Prince’s charity, The British Asian Trust.”

In the afternoon, The Prince of Wales attended a private luncheon with the 14th Vice President of India, Mr. Mohammad Hamid Ansari.  Meanwhile, the duchess visited the Self Employed Women’s Association. Thereafter, the royal couple toured the famous Delhi Akshardham Hindu Temple in east Delhi.

In the evening, The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall attended a reception at “…the British High Commissioner’s Residence to celebrate the British-India bilateral relationship before visiting the President of India…” according to Clarence House.

Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II Opens the New Headquarters of the SSAFA. (VIDEO)

On November 8, 2013, Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and His Royal Highness The Duke of Edinburgh arrived at Queen Elizabeth House in London to open the new headquarters of the Soldiers’ and Sailors’ Families Association (SSAFA), a charity which supports members — active and non-active — of the British Armed Forces and their families.

During today’s opening, according to the official website for SSAFA, Her Majesty and the duke were:

“…told of the current work of the charity before attending a reception where guests included beneficiaries, volunteers and staff from across SSAFA’s range of services.

The Queen unveiled a plaque to mark the opening and was presented with a badge to mark the 60 years of Her Majesty’s support as Patron.”

TRHs The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall Visit India. Day 2 (VIDEOS)

On November 7, 2013, Their Royal Highnesses The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall continued their nine-day official tour of India.

The day began with a visit to the Indian Military Academy in Dehradun.  Whilst there the royal couple were warmly welcomed by various officials, military training officers and cadets.

Thereafter, The Prince of Wales visited the “…Navdanya organic farm and education center where he met with Dr. Vandana Shiva…” according to Clarence House.  During his visit the future king and Dr. Shiva talked about sustainable agriculture and much more.

Meanwhile, The Duchess of Cornwall visited the Doon School also located in Dehradun.

His Royal Highness The Duke of Edinburgh and HRH Prince Harry of Wales Visit the Field of Remembrance. (VIDEO)

On Thursday, November 7, 2013, His Royal Highness The Duke of Edinburgh accompanied by His Royal Highness Prince Harry of Wales attended a “…service and visited the Field of Remembrance at Westminster Abbey…” according to the Associate Press.
