TRHs The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall Visit India: Day 7 (VIDEOS)

On Tuesday, November 12, 2013, Their Royal Highnesses The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall continued their nine-day official tour of India.

Today, The Prince of Wales visited the “…Cochin Shipyard, India’s largest shipyard which has very close links with a number of businesses in the UK…” as well as toured the Vazhachal Forest Range according to Clarence House.

The Duchess of Cornwall, in the meantime, visited the Government School of Nursing at Ernakulam, met with teachers and students from the Rajagiri Public School, and much more.

His Royal Highness The Duke of Cambridge Participates in an Investiture Ceremony.

cambridgeOn November 12, 2013, His Royal Highness The Duke of Cambridge participated in an investiture ceremony at Buckingham Palace in London.

The duke stepped in at the last minute when “…The Queen was forced to pull out [of the ceremony] this morning after suffering ‘mild discomfort’ with her ankle…” according to ITV News via a Buckingham Palace spokesperson.

CamillaCharlesOn Monday, November 11, 2013, The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall continued their nine-day visit to India.

This morning The Prince of Wales visited the Haji Ali Dargah Mosque in Mumbai while the duchess visited the Vandana Foundation.

In the afternoon, the royal couple arrived in Kerala where they visited the Kerala Folklore Museum and Theatre and attended an evening reception “…for Keralan civic and business leaders, to help strengthen the bilateral relationship between the UK and India…” according to Clarence House.

His Royal Highness The Duke of Edinburgh and His Royal Highness Prince Laurent of Belgium Attend the Last Post Ceremony. (VIDEOS)

On Monday, November 11, 2013, His Royal Highness The Duke of Edinburgh and His Royal Highness Prince Laurent of Belgium participated in the Last Post ceremony  in Ypres, Belgium.

The ceremony commemorates the hundreds of  thousands soldiers who died during World War I.

TRHs The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall Visit India. Day 5.

CCOn Sunday, November 10, 2013, Their Royal Highnesses The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall continued their nine-day visit to India.  The royal couple began their day by attending Remembrance Sunday service at the St. John the Evangelist Church in Mumbai.

From there the royal couple arrived in Pune to visit the Kirkee Commonwealth Cemetery which “…contains 1,668 Commonwealth burials of the Second World War…” according to Clarence House.  Thereafter, The Prince of Wales visited the Serum Institute and attended a reception at the Indian Turf Club.

Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II Leads Remembrance Sunday. (VIDEOS)

On Sunday, November 10, 2013, Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and His Royal Highness The Duke of Edinburgh accompanied by Their Royal Highnesses The Earl and Countess of Wessex, Their Royal Highnesses The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, His Royal Highness Prince Harry of Wales, Her Royal Highness The Princess Royal and Vice Admiral Sir Timothy Laurence, Their Royal Highnesses The Duke and Duchess of Gloucester, His Royal Highness The Duke of Kent, and Her Royal Highness Princess Alexandra, The Honorable Lady Oglivy, honored those who served and died in combat during the annual Remembrance Sunday at the Cenotaph Memorial in Whitehall, London.
