On Wednesday, September 7, 2016, Her Royal Highness The Duchess of Cornwall arrived a the Battersea Dogs and Cats (BDC) home in South London. During her visit the lovely duchess officially opened the home’s new Veterinary Hospital & Centre of Excellence as well as met with staff and their furry friends.
According to the official website for the Battersea Dogs and Cats home the new hospital provides:
“…state-of-the-art clinical facilities will play a pivotal role in our aim to never turn away an animal in need of help. [The hospital] has three top-spec operating theatres, enabling our staff to perform well over 100 operations per week. For the first time ever, we will have a dedicated dental suite to care for the 80 per cent of animals who arrive at our Home with problem teeth. Brand new intensive care areas and sound-proofed recovery wards with separate space for dogs and cats will allow for a peaceful and calm recovery.”

On Saturday, September 3, 2016, Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and His Royal Highness The Duke of Edinburgh accompanied by His Royal Highness The Prince of Wales and Her Royal Highness The Princess Royal attended the 2016 Braemar Gathering held at Cairngorms National Park in Braemar, Scotland.
Organized by the Braemar Royal Highland Society (BRHS), the gathering takes place on the “…first Saturday in September and sees competitors in Running, Heavy Weights, Solo Piping, Light Field and Solo Dance watched by around 16000 spectators….” according to AFP News.

On Friday, September 2, 2016, Their Royal Highnesses The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge visited the Eden Project in Cornwall, England.
Per the official website for the Eden Project:

On Thursday, September 1, 2016, Their Royal Highnesses The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge made a one-day visit to lovely Cornwall, England. Whilst there they met a bunch of awesome people, shook a few hands, waved a here and there, viewed amazing local sites, and a whole lot of other stuff.
