On Thursday, December 25, 2015, Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and His Royal Highness The Duke of Edinburgh accompanied by Their Royal Highnesses The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall, Their Royal Highnesses The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, His Royal Highness Prince Harry of Wales, His Royal Highness The Duke of York, Their Royal Highnesses Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie of York, Their Royal Highnesses The Earl and Countess of Wessex along with their two children Lady Louise Windsor, James, Viscount Severn, Royal Highness The Princess Royal and Vice-Admiral Sir Timothy Laurence, Mr. and Mrs. Peter Philips attended Christmas Day service at St. Mary Magdalene Church on the Sandringham Estate in Norfolk, England.

On Monday, December 21, 2015, His Royal Highness The Prince of Wales made a one-day visit to the region of Cumbria in North West England. Earlier this month the area was destroyed by severe flooding thanks to Storm Desmond.
According to Clarence House during today’s visit The Prince of Wales visited McVitie’s Factory Carlisle to:
“…see for himself the impact of Storm Desmond on local businesses. [The prince also met with] representatives of BITC’s, Business Emergency Resilience Group. [Thereafter, the prince met with] residents of Warwick Road to view flood damage to their homes and to learn more about the ongoing repair works.
The Prince of Wales also visited the Greystone Community Centre in Carlisle where he met with the first responders, emergency services, military and public sector personnel, charity and community representatives involved in the rescue and support of those affected by recent floods. The prince also visited the town of Appleby-in-Westmorland to view flood damage and learn more about the ongoing repair works…”

On Thursday, December 17, 2015, Her Royal Highness The Duchess of Cornwall attended the 2015 London International Horse Show held at the Olympia Exhibition Center in London, England.

On Tuesday, December 15, 2015, Her Royal Highness The Princess Royal officially opened the new £29 million Sid Watkins building at the The Walton Center in Liverpool, England.
According to the official website for the Walton Center during today’s opening the princess unveiled:
“…a commemorative plaque at which is named after an eminent neurosurgeon who made revolutionary improvements to the safety of Formula 1. A bust of Professor Sid Watkins, which honours his contribution to the world of sport and medicine, was also unveiled during the ceremony, which was attended by members of his family.
[The new building houses the Walton Center Hospital’s] 30-bedded Complex Rehabilitation Unit, its Pain Management Programme which helps patients manage long-lasting pain, a specialist neuropsychology service, an education centre and lecture theatre, charity funded relatives’ accommodation, an outpatients department, offices for finance, human resources, IT, Procurement and more.”
