His Royal Highness the Prince of Wales (aka the Duke of Rothesay) Continues His Visit to Scotland (VIDEO)

His Royal Highness the Prince of Wales, known as the Duke of Rothesay in Scotland, was Kilmarnock on May 11, 2012. The future king visited the North West Youth Project and Community Center.  Afterward, he “… re-opened the Johnnie Walker Bond Building…” and then attended the inauguration of the “… new Anaerobic Digestion Plant…” in North Ayrshire.

Their Royal Highnesses the Prince of Wales and the Duchess of Cornwall Visit the BBC headquarters in Glasgow, Scotland. Plus, Other News. (VIDEO)

Their Royal Highnesses the Prince of Wales and the Duchess of Cornwall visited the BBC Scotland headquarters in Glasgow to celebrate the network’s 60th anniversary.

During their visit the royal couple met with BBC Scotland employees and were given a tour of the studio.  Afterward, the Prince of Wales was “… invited to read a specially written weather bulletin with references to royal residences in Scotland.”

Love it!

Later on in the afternoon, the Duchess of Cornwall hosted a reception for locals at Holyroodhouse in Edinburgh as part of the Big Jubilee Lunch.  Afterward, the Prince of Wales and the Duchess of Cornwall visited the City of Glasgow College where they meet participants involved in the Prince’s Trust Get Into Cooking Program.  The purpose of the program is “… to give youngsters the skills and experience needed to work in the hospitality sector.”

Their Royal Highnesses the Prince of Wales and the Duchess of Cornwall Continue their Visit to Edinburgh, Scotland.

On May 9, 2012, His Royal Highness the Prince of Wales and the Duchess of Cornwall continued their visit in Edinburgh as part of Her Majesty’s Diamond Jubilee celebrations.

On the agenda today: A visit by His Royal Highness to the Royal Botanic Gardens and the Queen Mother’s Memorial Garden where he “… meet staff, volunteers and apprentices…” While the Duchess of Cornwall met with those participating “… in the British Food Fortnight’s Cook for The Queen Diamond Jubilee competition…” held at Holyroodhouse.

The royal couple also watched an Armed Forces personnel parade in front of Holyroodhouse then hosted a luncheon for the members of the Royal British Legion and Armed Forces personnel.

In the evening, the Prince of Wales attended a “… reception and dinner to celebrate the 30th anniversary of Scottish Business in the Community and will present the charity’s 2012 Awards…” held at the National Museum of Scotland.

On May 9, 2012, He Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and His Royal Highness the Duke of Edinburgh attended the State Opening of Parliament.  Per tradition Her Majesty gave her annual speech in the of the House of Lords.

Their Royal Highnesses the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge Attend a Meeting at Claridge’s Hotel in London (VIDEO)

On May 8, 2012, Their Royal Highnesses the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge attended a glamorous meeting held at the famous Claridge’s Hotel in Mayfair, London.

According to ITV News, the duke will address “… The Thirty Club, one of the most elite dining clubs in the country with members from advertising and the media.”

Her Royal Highness the Duchess of Cornwall Visits the Newly Restored Rosslyn Chapel in Scotland. (VIDEOS)

On Tuesday, May 8, 2012, Her Royal Highness the Duchess of Cornwall visited the newly restored Rosslyn Chapel in Midlothian, Scotland.

According to the official website for the Prince of Wales, the duchess attended a service to, “… celebrate the completion of the conservation programme of Rosslyn Chapel…”

The Duchess of Cornwall also attended a reception where she mingled with the Rosslyn Chapel staff, conservators, and others. Afterward, she “… unveiled a plaque to commemorate the opening of the new Visitor Centre.”

His Royal Highness the Prince of Wales Gives a Speech at the 6th World Fisheries Congress in Edinburgh, Scotland (VIDEO)

His Royal Highness the Prince of Wales is currently in Edinburgh, Scotland where he visited the Marine Scotland’s research vessel, Scotia, and attended a reception at Holyroodhouse for the Prince’s Trust Scotland.

Earlier in the afternoon, the future king of England gave an important speech during 6th World Fisheries Congress held at the Edinburgh International Conference Center.
