It seems that His Royal Highness the Duke of York is in hot water, again. According to the British newspaper, Telegraph, the second son of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II is being criticized for taking a luxurious private jet to Mumbai, India to visit some of the nation’s poorest areas. The cost “…of his travel[s] around the country has been estimated at £80,000.”
It seems that His Royal Highness the Prince of Wales’s 1994 Virage Volente Aston Martin is about to be auctioned on May 19, 2012 via Bonhams UK. The car, with a 6.3 liter engine and only 33,960 miles on it, has a “… pre-auction estimated value of $81,000 – $110,00…”
Now, the car is okay looking, but I would not buy a ’90s Aston Martin. In my opinion, a 1965 Aston Martin DB5 Vantage convertible is the way to go. 🙂

Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and His Royal Highness the Duke of Edinburgh were at Windsor Castle this afternoon to present new colours to “…the 1st Battalion and No. 7 Company the Coldstream Guards…”
Meanwhile, the BBC news is reporting that lovely British National Anthem has been “…rewritten in honor of Her Majesty’s Diamond Jubilee.” The new lyrics were written by Mr. Roger Brooks.
Here is the recent ITV1 documentary entitled, William & Kate: The First Year. The program is, well, okay. Kind of cheesy at times, but worth viewing. 🙂 Click the links below to watch.
