(VIDEOS) HM Queen Elizabeth II Welcomes the President of China to London.

On Tuesday, October 20, 2015, Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and His Royal Highness The Duke of Edinburgh welcomed the President of the People’s Republic of China, Mr. Xi Jinping, and his wife, Madame Peng Liyuan, to London, England.

According to the British royal court the day officially began at the:

“…Royal Pavilion on Horse Guards Parade.  Presentations [were] made, the Guard of Honour gave a Royal Salute and the Chinese National Anthem were played. The President, accompanied by The Duke of Edinburgh, inspected the Guard of Honour. Afterwards, the President and Madame Peng joined The Queen and The Duke of Edinburgh for a state carriage procession along The Mall to Buckingham Palace.

Following a private lunch at Buckingham Palace, given by The Queen, Her Majesty invited the President and Madame Peng to view an exhibition in the Picture Gallery of items from the Royal Collection relating to China.

In the afternoon the President and Madame Peng visited the Palace of Westminster, where they were welcomed by the Speaker of the House of Commons and the Lord Speaker. The President will delivered an Address in the Royal Gallery to Members of Houses of Parliament and other guests.”

cambridgeOn Thursday, October 15, 2015, His Royal Highness The Duke of Cambridge officially opened the new £2 million School of Pythagoras Archive Centre at the prestigious St. John’s College at the University of Cambridge in Cambridge, England.

(VIDEOS) HM Queen Elizabeth II Visits the University of Surrey.

On October 15, 2015, Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and His Royal Highness The Duke of Edinburgh arrived at the University of Surrey in Guildford, England, to officially open the university’s new School of Veterinary Medicine.

According to the official website for the university during today’s visit Her Majesty and the duke:

“…toured the £45 million School and visited the Large Animal Clinical Skills Building, where they met students undertaking equine examinations and working with livestock. The Royal Party also viewed a demonstration in the Biomechanics Laboratory, where they met Professor Noel Fitzpatrick, the ‘Supervet’, and dogs that have benefitted from prosthetic limb surgery. Finally, they observed teaching sessions in the Clinical Skills Laboratory, where they met staff and students undertaking clinical skills training.

After the tour, The Queen, The Duke and assembled guests participated in a short ceremony to celebrate the opening of the new teaching facilities, at which Her Majesty unveiled a plaque to mark the occasion.”

On Saturday, October 10, 2015, Their Royal Highnesses The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge arrived at Harrow College in London, England, to attend an event hosted by MIND, on the occasion of  World Mental Health Day.

During this afternoon’s visit the royal couple met with individuals “…who have overcome mental health problems and are not helping others do the same…” according to the newspaper, London Evening Standard.

(VIDEO) News Regarding HRH Prince Harry of Wales.

On Wednesday, September 30, 2015, His Royal Highness Prince Harry of Wales participated in the Walking with the Wounded’s Walk of Britain.

According to Kensington Palace, the:

“…trek started in Scotland in August and is set to take 72 days, finishing at Buckingham Palace on November 1.  Prince Harry has supported WWTW since the charity was formed, taking part in its treks to the North Pole in 2011 and South Pole in 2013.”

And, finally, this evening at Stadium MK, the popular prince attended the  2015 Rugby World Cup Pool D match between France and Canada.
