On October 6, 2012, His Royal Highness The Prince of Wales (also known as The Duke of Rothesay in Scotland) visited “… Ballindalloch Castle to mark the 40th anniversary of the North East Aberdeen-Angus Club and the 150th anniversary of the first volume of the Aberdeen-Angus Herd Book…” The Prince of Wales is patron of the Aberdeen Angus Cattle Society.

On October 5, 2012, Her Royal Highness The Princess Royal visited West Yorkshire. The princess toured the Stanley Ferry Workshops, attended the relaunch of the vessel E. Austen Johnson for the Safe Anchor Trust at Shepley Bridge Marina, and attended a “…Lunchtime Reception Event on Supported Employment at Bradford YMCA’s Culture Fusion Building.”
On Thursday, October 4, 2012, The Prince of Wales (also known as The Duke of Rothesay) was in Brechin, Scotland where he visited the 15th century building known as Merchant’s House. The old building was restored with funds from the Prince’s Regeneration Trust (PRT).

On September 27, 2012, Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II was in Ballater where she watched “… local school children unveil a plaque marking a special Diamond Jubilee cairn…”
Meanwhile, this morning at the National Portrait Gallery in Canberra, Australia a stunning new portrait of Her Majesty was unveiled. The new portrait of the Queen was painted by Australian artist, Mr. Ralph Heimans.

On Thursday, September 27, 2012, His Royal Highness The Earl of Wessex visited the Cheltenham College to participate in their 150th anniversary celebrations of the school’s Combined Cadet Force.
