On the afternoon of Tuesday, February 22, 2022, Their Royal Highnesses Hereditary Grand Duke Guillaume and Hereditary Grand Duchess Stephanie of Luxembourg along with His Royal Highness Prince Charles of Luxembourg attended a ceremony at Dräi Eechelen Park in Luxembourg.
Yesterday’s ceremony was organized by the Scouting in Luxembourg (SIL) in which HRH Hereditary Grand Duke Guillaume is Patron as well as the Chief Scout of Luxembourg.
During the celebrations His Royal Highness Hereditary Grand Duke Guillaume gave a speech in front of dozens of people including Mrs. Lydie Polfer, Mayor of the City of Luxembourg as well as representatives of two Luxembourg associations, the Fédération Nationale des Eclaireurs et Eclaireuses du Luxembourg (FNEL) and the Lëtzebuerger Guiden a Scouten (LGS).
On the morning of Wednesday, February 23, 2022, Her Majesty Queen Margrethe II of Denmark accompanied by Her Royal Highness Crown Princess Mary of Denmark hosted a reception for Her Royal Highness The Duchess of Cambridge at Christian IX’s Palace at Amalienborg in Copenhagen.
After the reception, HRH Crown Princess Mary of Denmark hosted a private luncheon for HRH The Duchess of Cambridge at Frederik VIII’s Palace at Amalienborg.
In the afternoon, HRH Crown Princess Mary and HRH The Duchess of Cambridge visited the Danner Crisis Center. Whilst there The Crown Princess and The Duchess viewed a presentation of the “…Mary Foundation and the the Ole Kirk Foundation efforts for the approximately 2,000 children who come to the shelter with their mother every year in Denmark, Greenland and the Faroe Islands…” according to the Danish royal court. The backpacks, which are adapted to the child’s gender and age, contain in addition to a toothbrush, a teddy bear, school supplies and a postcard also a greeting from The Crown Princess. Furthermore, the backpack serves as a tool to help the children “…talk about their experiences with it, the violence they witnessed and the failure they have experienced.”
Later in the day HRH The Duchess of Cambridge visited the Skovbørnehaven Stenurten in Ballerup just outside of Copenhagen.

On the morning of Wednesday, February 23, 2022, His Majesty King Felipe VI of Spain meet with the President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, at Palacio de La Zarzuela in Madrid, Spain.
According to the Spanish royal court the meeting was also attended by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, European Union and Cooperation, Mr. José Manuel Albares Bueno, the Spanish Ambassador to Serbia, Mr. Raúl Bartolomé Molina, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia, Mr. Nikola Selaković, the Counselor for Foreign Affairs of the President of the Republic of Serbia, Ms. Tatjana Jović.
After the meeting, His Majesty King Felipe VI hosted a luncheon in honor of President Vučić at the palace.
Last November, Her Royal Highness Grand Duchess Maria Teresa of Luxembourg met with Univision journalist and host of the program Aquí y Ahora, Ms. Teresa Rodríguez.
In the interview, which took place at the stunning Château de Berg in Luxembourg, the popular Grand Duchess spoke about her life, her struggles, work and family. The program is in Spanish, and unfortunately there are no sub-titles for those who do not speak nor understand Spanish.
On Wednesday, February 23, 2022, Her Majesty Queen Mathilde of Belgium visited the KASK & Conservatorium and School of Arts in Gent, Belgium.
According to the official website for the KASK & Conservatorium the school:
“…brings together talented and motivated students with outstanding educators, active artists, designers and theorists in art and design from all over the world. The mission statement of the school defines its main tasks: development of the arts, education and research in an international perspective.”
During this morning’s visit Her Majesty Queen Mathilde viewed a Cello master class and a few musical intermezzos. She also spoke with international students who are passionate about music. In recent years, Her Majesty Queen Mathilde has visited a large number of conservatories in order to stimulate the musical education of young people and, in particular, to further encourage their interest in classical music. Moreover, Her Majesty Queen Mathilde has been a Patron of the Queen Elisabeth International Competition, which in 2022, will organize a Cello competition.

On Wednesday, February 23, 2022, Her Royal Highness Princess Beatrix of the Netherlands visited the Royal Netherlands Marechaussee (RNM) in Apeldoorn.
During today’s visit Princess Beatrix, accompanied by the Commander of the Royal Netherlands Marechaussee Mr. Hans Leijtens, toured the Education, Training and Knowledge Center at the RNM.
