The 31 year-old popular prince is Honorary President of England Rugby 2015.
On Thursday, September 17, 2015, Her Majesty Queen Rania of Jordan received the Walther Rathenau Prize from the Chancellor of Germany, Ms. Angela Merkel, at the Federal Foreign Office in Berlin, Germany.
Her Majesty received the award for her commitment to peace and understanding between peoples, religions, and between the East and West. Dr. Werner Hoyer, CEO of the Rathenau Institute, noted that Her Majesty is a “…courageous builder of bridges, her voice internationally is heard against violence and for tolerance across cultural and religious boundaries [which] is needed more than ever, especially in this day and age.”
On September 15, 2015, Her Royal Highness Princess Benedikte of Denmark visited the Deutsch-Skandinavische Schule (German-Scandinavan School) in Berlin, Germany.
According to the news agency, PPE, Tuesday’s visit was “…part of the celebrations for the official recognition of the four-language school in Berlin.”
On Thursday, September 17, 2015, Her Majesty Queen Maxima of the Netherlands attended the 50th anniversary celebrations of the Molukse community in Alphen aan den Rijn.
On September 17, 2015, Her Royal Highness The Duchess of Cambridge visited the Anna Freud Centre in London, England.
According to the Press Association, the “… [AFC] charity not only treats children and young people with mental health problems, but conducts research and teaches.”

On Thursday, September 17, 2015, Their Majesties King Philippe and Queen Mathilde of Belgium along with His Royal Highness Grand Duke Henri of Luxembourg, and Their Royal Highnesses Hereditary Prince Alois and Hereditary Princess Sophie of Liechtenstein participated in the annual meeting of the heads of state of German-speaking countries held at the beautiful Schloss Vaduz in Vaduz, Liechtenstein.
Other attendees included the President of the Federal Republic of Germany, Mr. Joachim Gauck, the President of Austria, Mr. Heinz Fischer, and the President of the Swiss Federation, Ms. Simonetta Sommaruga.
During today’s meeting discussions focused on “…current political issues including the current migrant crisis in Europe…” according to the newspaper, Vaterland.
