On Monday, December 1, 2014, Their Serene Highnesses Prince Albert II and Princess Stephanie of Monaco attended the 2014 Fight AIDS Monaco Auction Gala held inside the Salon Atlantique at the Hôtel Méridien Beach Plaza in Monaco.
Princess Stephanie is President of Fight AIDS Monaco.
On Monday, December 1, 2014, Their Majesties King Felipe VI and Queen Letizia of Spain arrived in Berlin, Germany, for a two-day official visit.
Their Majesties began their day at Schloss Bellevue where they met with the President of Germany, Mr. Joachim Gauck, and his longtime partner, Ms. Daniela Schadt. After the official welcoming ceremony, Their Majesties were ushered into Schloss Bellevue where they posed for the press as well as attended a luncheon held in their honor.
In the afternoon, King Felipe VI and Queen Letizia accompanied by the Mayor of Berln, Mr. Klaus Wowereit, visited the famous Brandenburg Gate as well as attended meeting.
Thereafter, Their Majesties met with the Chancellor of Germany, Ms. Angela Merkel as well as with the President of the Deutscher Bundestag, Dr. Norbert Lammert.
On Monday, December 1, 2014, His Royal Highness Crown Prince Haakon of Norway visited the music streaming service, WiMP, in Oslo, Norway. During today’s visit the future king of Norway met with staff, Norwegian reggae singer, Mr. Philip Boardman (aka Admiral P), and a bunch of other people.
On the evening of Monday, December 1, 2014, Her Majesty Queen Mathilde of Belgium arrived at the Palais des Académies in Brussels to attend the Fondation Contre le Cancer’s Grants 2014 ceremony.
On November 21, 2014, His Serene Highness Prince Albert II of Monaco attended the Galerie Adriano Ribolzi 40th anniversary celebrations in Monaco. During last month’s celebration’s a new exhibition was opened which showcases works by several “…Italian masters from the second half of the 20th century…”
Recently, His Serene Highness Prince Albert II of Monaco viewed the exhibition, La Grande Guerre vue de Monaco, held at the Auditorium Rainier III in Monaco.
On Monday, December 1, 2014, Her Majesty Queen Maxima of the Netherlands attended the 2014 Prins Bernhard Cultuurfonds Prijs held at the Theater Amsterdam in Amsterdam. The winner of this year’s award went to theatre director, Mr. Johan Simons.
The Prins Bernhard Cultuurfonds Prijs, worth 150,000 Euros, is:
“…is awarded annually to a person or institution with a great track record in the field of culture and nature in the Netherlands. [Mr. Simons received the award] for his great services to the theater arts at home and abroad. He has a unique form of theater developed that was another factor, and for Dutch theater. By continuing to support new actors and directors, he also brings a distinct contribution to the development of talented theater.”
