On Wednesday, November 12, 2014, Their Majesties King Willem-Alexander and Queen Maxima of the Netherlands attended the 2014 Erasmusprijs held at the Koninklijk Paleis in Amsterdam. The theme of the 2014 Erasmusprijs: Theatre, Audience and Society.
This year the Stichting Praemium Erasmianum (Praemium Erasmianum Foundation) awarded the prize to Belgian festival director and curator, Ms. Frie Leysen.
