On Wednesday, November 12, 2014, Her Majesty Queen Maxima of the Netherlands visited the organization, Villa Joep, at the Stedelijk Museum in Amsterdam.
Established in 2004 Villa Joep is committed to fight against neuroblastoma one of the most deadly forms and most common of childhood cancer. According to the official website for Villa Joep the aim of the organization “…is fundraising. Many initiatives like spinning events, marathon runs and other smaller local activities, all contribute to the fundraising program of Villa Joep.”
During today’s visit Her Majesty met with patients as well as staff who were participating in an art workshop at the Stedelijk Museum. The theme of the workshop, according to RVD, Hoe Word ik Een Kunstenaar?
