On Wednesday, March 20, 2013, Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and His Royal Highness The Duke of Edinburgh along with her Royal Highness The Duchess of Cambridge visited the Baker Street Underground Station to commemorate the 150th Anniversary of the London Underground.
During their visit the royal family met with station employees, “…viewed a restored 1892 underground coach and walked through the new S7 train before The Queen unveiled a plaque naming the train Queen Elizabeth II.” Afterward, Her Majesty, The Duke and The Duchess “…met with representatives of the Railway Children charity.”
On March 19, 2013, Their Royal Highnesses The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall concluded their three-day official visit to Oman.
Prior to their departure the royal couple visited the British School in Muscat where they met with staff as well as students. From there The Prince of Wales visited the HMS Northumberland and the Public Establishment of Industrial Estates while The Duchess of Cornwall visited the Omani Women’s Association and the Shams Al Ma’aref School.

On March 19, 2013, Their Royal Highnesses Princess Margriet and Princess Laurentien of the Netherlands, along with Her Royal Highness Princess Astrid of Belgium, attended the 2013 European Culture Foundation Award Ceremony held at The Egg in Brussels.
Per RVD:
“This award of the European Cultural Foundation (ECF), in collaboration with the Ministries of Education, Culture and Science and Foreign Affairs, has been awarded to artists Dan and Lia Perjovschi and conductor Yoel Gamzou. During the ceremony Princess Laurentien, President of the ECF, gave a speech and Princess Margriet presented the awards.”
According to Monaco Matin, Her Serene Highness Princess Charlene of Monaco, as Honorary President, will attend the 2013 Ladies Lunch Monte-Carlo on March 21 at the Hôtel Métropole in Monaco.
Funds raised during this important charity event will be donated to the Centre de la Jeunesse Princesse Stéphanie.

On March 19, 2013, His Majesty King Abdullah II of Jordan attended the opening of the Ghazzat Hashem Mosque in Ein Al Basha. After the official opening His Majesty, accompanied by various government officials, was given a tour of the new three story mosque.
His Majesty also made a surprise visit to an “…impoverished community living in tents near Amman…” according to the Jordan News Agency. During his visit the king, “…checked the conditions of the families living in the tents and ordered authorities to secure a decent living [conditions] for them.”
According to the official website for this charity:
“Their Royal Highnesses met with staff from the charity’s Bereavement Services and Training and Fundraising teams. The couple also met bereaved families involved in the Children and Young People’s Service (CHYPS), the Young People’s Advisory Group (YPAG) and a Parents’ Support Group.”
