On Thursday, February 21, 2013, Her Royal Highness The Duchess of Cornwall, as patron of Booktrust, visited the “…West Greenwich Library in London to launch Booktrust’s ‘Get Dads Reading’ campaign with best-selling author, James Patterson.”
The duchess also visited the Fan Museum in Greenwich.
On February 21, 2013, His Majesty King Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck of Bhutan “…awarded gallantry and service medals to 239 Royal Bhutan Army, Royal Bhutan Police, and Royal Body Guards personnel, Desuups and civilians” in Thimphu.
Afterward, His Majesty accompanied by Her Majesty Queen Jetsun visited the visited Dechenphodrang Monastic School “…on the occasion of His Majesty’s birthday.” During their visit the royal couple “…offered Nyendar and prayers for the continued peace and prosperity of the nation.”
Per a press release via the Spanish royal court:
“Upon completion of the tests, examinations and conducted the studies His Majesty King Juan Carlos I of Spain’s medical team has determined that the most appropriate treatment for His Majesty’s herniated disc, located in the lumbosacral spine and spinal stenosis, is surgery.The operation aims neurological decompression and spinal stabilization.
The operation will be performed by Dr. Manuel de la Torre Gutiérrez and his team on March 3, 2013 at La Milagrosa Clinic in Madrid.”
