In the evening His Royal Highness Prince Felipe of Asturias attended the XXIII Men’s Handball World Championship game between Spain and Hungary at the Magic Box in Madrid. So who won the match: Spain, 28-22. 🙂

On the evening of January 17, 2013, Their Serene Highnesses Prince Albert II and Princess Charlene of Monaco along with Her Serene Highness Princess Stephanie of Monaco and her daughter, Ms. Pauline Ducruet, attended the opening of the 37th Festival International du Cirque de Monte-Carlo held at the Chapiteau de Fontvieille.
Per the official website for the Cirque de Monte-Carlo:
“Created in 1974 by H.S.H. Prince Rainier III of Monaco, the Festival International du Cirque de Monte-Carlo has become the largest and most prestigious circus event in the world. It awards the most respected prize in the world of the circus, namely the Clown d’Or Award.
Organized and presided by H.S.H. Princess Stephanie of Monaco, a selection of the best international acts is presented each year at the Festival which is broadcasted around the globe.”

Their Majesties King Carl XVI Gustaf and Queen Silvia of Sweden visited the Arbetsförmedlingens Huvudkontor (Employment Services’s headquarters) in Stockholm on January 17, 2013.
During their visit the king and queen were:
“… informed of the employment service’s assessment of the labor market situation and the activities and programs that target job seekers and employers. During the visit they also received information about the opportunities to get more people included in the labor market.”
