His Royal Highness Prince Philippe of Belgium Presides Over the 8th Prix Belgodyssée.
On the morning of December 19, 2012, His Royal Highness Prince Philippe of Belgium presided over the 8th Prix Belgodyssée held at the Palais Royal de Bruxelles. The Prix Belgodyssée was organized in collaboration with the Fonds Prince Philippe, VivaCité (RTBF) and Radio 2 (VRT).
Her Majesty Queen Paola of Belgium Hosts a Christmas Concert.
On Wednesday, December 19, 2012, Her Majesty Queen Paola of Belgium hosted a Christmas concert at the Palais de Bruxelles. Unfortunately, His Majesty King Albert II was not present (he has the Flu); however, Their Royal Highnesses Prince Philippe and Princess Mathilde, Their Royal Highnesses Prince Laurent and Princess Claire and Her Majesty Queen Fabiola were in attendance.
According to the Belgian royal court this evening’s concert was:
“… performed by the Orchestre National de Belgique, the baritone José van Dam and soloists from the Chapelle Musicale Reine Elisabeth under the direction of Mr. Christopher Warren Green.”
After the concert Her Majesty hosted a lovely reception at the palace. The purpose of tonight’s event was to “… thank those who have contributed to the success of royal activities throughout the year 2012.”

“… the National Plan of Action for Children (NPAC) 2004–2013 evaluation outcomes ahead of the launch of a new action plan next year. The plan is part of the National Council on Family Affairs’ (NCFA) work on child welfare in Jordan …”
