On February 15, 2012, Their Royal Highnesses Prince Philippe and Princess Mathilde of Belgium visited Hainaut Province. The royal couple began their day at Tannerie Masure in Estaimbourg which provides leather goods to various companies such as Louis Vuitton. Soon, it was off to Les Tourelles Institution in Chercq which provides “… educational support and youth assistance in the community…”
Afterward, Prince Philippe and Princess Mathilde toured the town of Tournai. Whilst there the royal couple visited the Cathedral Notre-Dame de Tournai to view the ongoing restoration of the building. Their final stop was at the Tournai City Hall were they, along with dozens of local dignitaries, attended a reception in honor of the royal visit.
On February 14, 2012, His Serene Highness Prince Hans-Adam II of Liechtenstein celebrated his 67th birthday with a reception at Vaduz Castle. Guests included Prime Minister Klaus Tschütscher, members of Parliament, Chief Justice and Chairman of the Senate, Archbishop Haas, and many others.
On February 14, 2012, Her Royal Highness the Princess Royal attended the Younger Brethren’s Guest Night at Trinity House in London. Afterward, the princess was in Surrey where she visited HM Prison High Down and then participated in an event regarding Save the Children UK in which she is president.
On Monday, February 13, 2012, Her Royal Highness the Duchess of Gloucester was at Hampton Court Palace where she attended the opening of the exhibition, Royal Connections.
According to the official website for the British monarchy, after the opening of the exhibition the Duchess:
…met with members of the Royal School of Needlework at Hampton Court. Her Royal Highness is President of the School, a charity which is the international centre for teaching, practising and promoting hand embroidery.
